Assuming Kevin Owns goes after the us title at mania, that would leave the potential to have KO possibly win the us title and Zayn to win the IC title. Now I know it’s not the world titles but Sami dethroning Gunther after an almost 2 year reign and KO winning his first singles title since 2018 I believe would be big moments and being best friends and winning singles titles at mania and embracing would be an awesome moment.

I'm really guessing they're just going to pivot KO into a segment with Theory and Waller or something. Do some kind of joint Grayson Waller Effect / KO Show where some legend drops in to help KO beat them down.

I don’t think Sami is going to win the IC title. I feel like that’s being saved for Jey

I could be wrong but I don't see either of them winning titles this year at Mania.

No offence to Gunther or the IC belt, but I feel this is beneath Zayn.

Aside from several holes in the "Sami/KO winning titles" theory, no, I don't see WWE trying to recreate the Benoit/Guerrero moment. The company still, and likely always will, want fans to think of Benoit as little as possible.

They had their moment last year. I can’t see either winning this year.

I think Sami does win the title (given the IC title is more meaningful than when he held it last it can still be spun as a big moment). But I don’t think Owens wins.

The only way I can see Sami winning the belt is if Priest cashes in on him immediately afterward. Don't see a scenario where he makes it out of Mania with it.

Yeah which is why Daniel Bryan won with a crossface at Wrestlemania 30 and celebrated in the ring with a family member after I'll grant you the crossface, and even throw in that it was a Triple Threat Match. But lots of wrestlers celebrate with family and friends after their wins, especially in main events/championship matches. What made the Benoit/Guerrero celebration different was that it was two top singles champions celebrating together. The proposed KO/Sami celebration would be a repeat of that, but replace "top" with "secondary."

I can't recall any time a champion ever celebrated with family that wasn't already a wrestler to close the show. I'm sure you could do that, but it would be odd in a midcard match unless one helped the other win.

We're going to start gladly pretending Sami never existed and all his accomplishments were actually the work of Dolph Ziggler?

KO and Sami already had that type of moment when they won the tag titles at WM 39.
