Probably the most useless stable in AEW history, even when The Firm lost their purpose mere weeks in. Look sometimes guys that scissor and guys that bang, just wanna coexist for a few weeks 🤷

I'm not even a huge fan of Jay White or anything but this absolutely needed to happen. They now should just get the Trios titles off of The Acclaimed because this is probably the worst 7 month title reign humanly possible in this company. Holy shit, it's been 7 months?!? Good god, I guess they did win them at Grand Slammed didn't they? Yeah, let BCG win and unify the titles. You don't need 2 sets of trios belts, the 6 man belts are by far the most expendable ROH belt.

They also had already been feuding with HoB for almost 4 months at that point, so they've been around the titles for almost a year at this point.

It looked like Top Flight and Andretti were gonna win them in a rematch after they used the tights to win but then it got forgotten about

It really does feel like a waste that the BBSG didn't even try to go after the Undisputed Kingdom after uniting. I don't know if that says more about the BBSG group just not working out or forming a stable where the main catalysts have major injuries was a bad idea.

I don't know if that says more about the BBSG group just not working out or forming a stable where the main catalysts have major injuries was a bad idea. Undisputed Kingdom getting demolished so soon after their formation would move them from underwhelming to a disaster - AEW not even trying to make it work after all that buildup would make the whole thing even more of a waste and would damage Adam Cole significantly. Conversely, Bang Bang Scissor Gang uniting just to fight Undisputed Kingdom, and not getting the job done before dissolving into a feud, would make them look like idiots. What we got instead sold a shirt for a month or two, and sometimes that's all a wrestling angle manages.

I haven't been able to stop crying. I can't believe Switchblade would stab them in the back like this.

It wouldn't have helped anyone to have BBSG go up against UK but I think the fact the entire catalyst for joining was "We both got f***ed over by these guys" really made it a problem that they didn't. The Max stuff, for all its flaws, did a good job of telling a sprawling, show-wide story that would pull people in to its orbit and do things with them; to have people directly harmed by UK team up only to never be on screen with or talk about those guys they had beef with again felt like an immediate split from things. The story seemed like it was on rails and in focus, and the second Max went away all of that fell apart, and it's been worse off for it.

I'm not quite getting the disappointment. The UK reason for forming fell aside like... 90% of UK stuff They had some skits together, a ton of chemistry so there was fun, but it was always going to end in something like this as soon as a path was established for, especially Jay White, it was a holding pattern that was a ton of fun. Basically:

Also, the promo they did shortly after forming had the Bang Bang Scissor Gang teasing going after even more titles, specifically getting Billy Gunn a singles title, but then they never even attempt to challenge for more belts, instead opting for wacky trio combinations like The Acclaimed and Austin Gunn on Collision.
So, that's two reasons that the BBSG united to do, only to not pursue them at all. Hell, neither the Gunns or The Acclaimed qualified for the tag title tournament, despite both teams being former champions.

I assume because in Kayfabe the Acclaimed are now hurt (Max might be irl suspended) and The Gunn's haven't wrestled as a straight up team in awhile
