The demo has been oddly consistent over the course of the show for the past two weeks. There's just a group of people who haven't tuned in suddenly two weeks in a row and I don't really have a gond explanation. Let's see what happened on Dynamite two weeks ago... Whole lot of people invested in TNT Champion Christian Cage.

I'm not going to be disingenuous and scream doom, but at some point, Tony and the braintrust have to throw up their hands and wonder what they have to do to get more eyes not only watching but staying. I don't think there's much they can do. As Toni Storm knows there's an old saying in entertainment - always leave them wanting more. 5 hours of TV and near monthly ppvs mean very few want more. Plus early Collision being a mess helped make it easy go skip things and once people start doing that they'll do it more, especially in a week with so much wrestling. If they still threw everything into dynamite with just rampage as overflow I'm sure ratings would be higher. However their current model with Collision is what the network wants and is presumably more profitable but it just means it's extremely difficult for dynamite to hit the ratings highs it once did.

I honestly think AEW could sign Roman Reigns & Cena and the ratings would still stay the same. There's too many people who just flat out refuse to watch AEW even if their favourites sign for them.
Its quite sad really.

These big signings are doing nothing for business. What TK needs is a hot angle to pop these ratings long term. XPW should invade Dynamite next week.

Any word on where it ranked for the night?
Now that Mone has called her shot with the TBS title they'd be stupid not to have her have 1 or 2 tune up matches on TV before challenging for the belt. I think Willow has potential to be a big deal as a white meat Babyface squaring off against a heel Mone.
Swerve is over AF and the heir apparent to the World Title but it seems like that program lost a bit of heat when Hangman had to stop appearing on TV (Last night's segment with Joe was really good though. Hopefully they ramp up the drama between these 2 in the coming weeks)

The hot angle SHOULD be Joe v Swerve but I don't think it's quite there yet. Hopefully it'll ramp up in the next few weeks. The Ospreay/Danielson story needs more action now too

Maybe next week’s episode should be a “Billy Gunn Vs Jay White appreciation” dedication episode, where various wrestlers give their thoughts on what made the match so special and what made fans around the world wanting to tune in to watch a classic.

I really don't see how Collision existing is hurting Dynamite's ratings, like sometimes people can only watch one during the week but it's because they can't watch the other or sometimes never could. I get the idea that only so many people watch so much wrestling a week but no that does not explain Dynamite's current ratings when Collision's been around now almost a year.

Imo, having Mone be on the roster is cool and all, but having her spend all this time basically just talking and not having any matches has, imo, cooled her off a little bit. Doesn’t help that Dynasty is towards the end of the month and if she’s not planning to wrestle till then than I feel the novelty will wear off completely which sucks because Iam a big fan of her and she’s been squanded so far She might not wrestle until the end of May with the announcement of her fighting for the TBS title at Double or Nothing.

Theoretically, Collision existing potentially dilutes the product to a point that more people throw their hands up and tune out altogether (in addition to the possibility that some people choose one or the other due to time constraints).

I really don't see how, Collision has done a lot of different stuff in comparison to Dynamite. The roster is so big a lot of wrestlers can simply exist on either and there can be continuity without much strain It's leveled out nicely since Punk left.

You don’t see how adding more product can potentially dilute the audience for one of the shows? There’s only so much wrestling that can be watched per week for some people. If WWE were to get rid of Smackdown forever and have Raw as the one weekly show moving forward, I’d imagine Raw would see a sharp uptick in viewership.

Paying an assload of money for someone who's only really worth having for her wrestling ability and then having her hang around for months not wrestling is a choice.

Her greatest strength was her in-ring talent and honesty her not even having a match yet by now is absolutely a boneheaded move she's like 99% in ring talent, even with any troubles AEW is having I really can't see a way they'd hold off that long. i'll gladly eat crow if not but if that becomes true I wouldn't care about eating crow, I'd wonder if she's injured or some weird shit was going on. she needs to be in ring immediately, even if it is a squash of someone
