This is the opposite of a shameful thing.

Now get that man some better looking bottoms.
He can do the shorts if it makes him happy, just make it look a little more NXT, a little less FCW.

He’s been asking for the music back for years so I’m glad he got it. It’s crazy how many guys on the roster look so much younger than their years. Sheamus is 46!!! He could easily pass for a decade younger. The wild thing is for like…what 3 maybe even 4 years now he was supposed to be on borrowed time because there was like a worrying major injury(I think his neck or back?) that was hanging over the future of his career like a Sword of Damocles? But he looks to me these last two years to be in the best shape he’s been in like a decade? Maybe more? Like the way he went for broke in his GUNTHER matches is insane. I don’t even think prime Sheamus could go like that.

Good to see him back, even better with the song.
And yeah, whew, what a turnaround in his career in the past few years. The Bar was such a shot in the arm for the guy.

I was at the show when he won MITB and it was extremely quiet in person. He had been over pushed for years and we didn’t want to see him get another push. Who would have thought that like 2 years later, he joins Cesaro and does a complete 180 on his career from that? He’s been awesome since he joined The Bar and I’m glad he got his best music back.

Looking back at that card that show is dire. The only match I remember at all is Seth / Dean, which I remember being boring as all hell and making Mox look like complete shit because Seth beat him completely clean at a point in time when the dude was needing 80 run-ins to fight anybody to a standstill (and I remember the argument at the time in favor of it was, "Seth needs to look good to fight Brock!" only for Brock to completely annihilate him with Seth getting saved by yet another run-in), and looking at the rest of the lineup nothing on the show sounds even slightly appealing.

This is now the fourth different intro that Written in your face has had. There's the "read the words that are written in your face, oh I believe oh I believe them" with violins, an extended version of that he used in FCW, then the no intro, straight to the guitars he used for years and now the Hellfire intro.
I kinda wish that the FCW version had a clean version released, because I dig it but it was too long for what it was and it's not the kind of thing that makes you want to pop/boo.

You would think that going over at 'mania in a World Title match would be the greatest part of a dudes career, but for Sheamus that 2012 match against Daniel Bryan might have been the worst as it killed him as a face. Not only did he cheap shot Bryan, he also basically turned down a good scrap that night, something a face Sheamus should never do and from then on his goose was cooked. He then went on to look like an absolute twat in feuds with Barrett, Henry and Sandow and by the time 2015 came around everyone was sick of Sheamus.

Putting him against Ivar in his return match was a brilliant call.
Sheamus is at his very best when he's up against someone who can match him in both power and the sheer ability to give and take an absolute ass-whooping, so it was great not only to see Sheamus back in the ring, but also back to being sweaty and beaten to hell after a physical brawl. It's so much more effective than if they had him face someone like Apollo Crews and just effortlessly beat him after one Brogue Kick.

Great to see him back. And the music is back! And that’s not a shameful thing.
Back in time for Clash in the Castle 2 as well. Gunther rematch?

Have always liked Sheamus.
I just hope he gets that IC Title run before he calls it a day in the ring.

I've loved Sheamus since I first saw him boot a man in the face and love the respect he has now for being great, having lived through his X-Pac Heat days.

Dude put on some lbs but it was probably needed and didn't look bad. It was jarring given the recent trend of guys returning looking sculpted out of marble though.

I'm so happy that Sheamus got "Written In My Face" back. Such a great song.
