These attempts at dunking on WWE just don't have the same bite when the dude making the decisions they're dunking on doesn't work for the company anymore

To be fair that aspect hasn't really changed no matter what...the production has gotten sleeker but they still very much want everything to the hardcam.

They really aren't forcing everything to the hardcam, they're absolutely shooting from all sorts of different angles. Everybody is already trained to work the hardcam tho, but they shoot pinfalls from the floor and other stuff. Working the hardcam is still smart, most of your best shots are gonna come from there, but they aren't using it as the end all be all anymore. They're using other cameras to find the best angle rather then shooting everything purely from the hardcam and forcing unnatural and illogical movements because Kevin Dunn was lazy

I think the joke is less about where they shoot angles, and more about the whole "well, they'll need x amount of time in NXT to really get used to their style..." talking point.
Wouldn't you know we're riding...on the Marrakesh Express?

It may not specifically be the hard cam anymore, but WWE still trains people in a specific style. It is the point of having a massive performance center. Hell, they are sending Guilia to NXT, no reason to think they wouldn't do the same to anyone else from Stardom. They would have probably sent Ospreay there too and we see how TV ready he already is.
Doubt it or else TK would have immediately announced she is all elite...what with how quickly after Rossy's departure the STARDOM women all of a sudden have matches on ROH and now collision with AZM and Mina on dynamite. There is no chance he would have wasted anytime in trying to grab that headline that he signed one of the most popular Joshi's right now.
And Mina was one of the women who stated she is staying with STARDOM when Rossy left.
I’m going to explain it slower this time since people refuse to understand the situation whatsoever
1. Rossy wasn’t making decisions. Bushiroad was. They were in charge. They made the calls.
2. Whenever Tony decided he wanted to use a Stardom wrestler it was impossible to get them BECAUSE THEY HAVE THEIR OWN SHOWS. Bushiroad won’t pull someone when they are already booked for a lineup. He didn’t give enough notice to leave someone unhooked from their own shows on the other side of the world.
3. Mina and AZM are there because they are booked for a New Japan show tomorrow. Period. That’s it. Tony can get them when he decides at the last minute because they’re already here. If they had a show in Japan tomorrow instead…Tony would have to find someone else to be mad at.
He’s mad at at the head of creative for running his show and not the actual owners whose policy is not to change cards because he decides after Stardom shows are booked that he wants a Stardom wrestler. He’s just throwing a fit like a child who can’t get a toy he didn’t want until it was already sold out. That is how Japanese wrestling works under Bushiroad. They won’t false advertise. They won’t pull talent that’s already booked. You need to make these plans farther in advance. Mina and AZM are available because they’re booked here already. Just like Mina was on last time because she was already here for Mania weekend. Period. Stop believing everything the “I was afraid for my life” carny tells you
To anwser the last one I think by the time she was called up she was in dev for like 7yrs I believe.
And they didn't give her a Van Wilder Gimmick?
Everyone is stupid but me.
That would've been incredible. She could've taken someone under her wing to be her Taaj and become popular with the people who work backstage because she's been around so long that they're all friends.
