twitter.com/rossyogawa/status/1779411972934848695Rossy Ogawa, formly of STARDOM, has announced that tomorrow will be the unveiling of his new promotion. It will be viewable on Wrestle Universe's YouTube channel. It is unknown at this fight how involved CyberFight, the owners of Wrestle Universe, will be beyond this press conference.

Holy hell he got cyberfight money? He’s going to be able to book whoever. NJPW better put the belt on Sareee and use that as a way of keeping her away, but if Rossy has this backing and freely interact with other promotions he’s gonna have so much to play with.

Im guessing it'll be like the other promotions recently added to Wrestle Universe, it will be run independently but broadcast on that service. As opposed to being directly owned by cyberfight like tjpw, ddt and noah.
Eitywr way the prospect of tjpw, sendai girls and this new promotion all being in once place is fantastic.

Well Sareee vs Giulia (With Partners of their choosing) is a hell of a way to start this promotion
By the looks of the roster, it has a really sturdy foundation, and if WWE wants to work with Giulia... we may have a crossover situation as AEW does with STARDOM
Very interesting time for Joshi in US Wrestling and in Japan itself!

Starting off poaching 6 wrestlers from AWG is certainly a look.
Also Rossy being Rossy.

Starting off poaching 6 wrestlers from AWG is certainly a look. Also Rossy being Rossy. Worth noting that "poaching" is both an incorrect and correct term, in this case. All of the talents they took from Act'Z were women who didn't have contracts. This has been a problem with Act'Z for awhile now. They refuse to sign any of their women to actual contracts, so this happens often.

ZAyda Steel and Mariah Grace both announced as part of first show Just a quick correction, one of the people involved is Myla Grace who is mostly a Northern Ireland mainstay but has performed in the Republic and Europe. So regardless of what I think of all of this personally, can’t help but be happy for her to get the opportunity.

IMO it aint poaching simply because they had no contracts.
Now you could absoloutley side eye Rossy on this because he had to have known how little resources AWG has and taking advantage of that can be seen as a bit of again side eye against him.

I know that probably none of them can do the "High Speed" style currently, but it still might be interesting if this could be a place to send NXT/PC women on excursion (I know, I know...)

It is what I hope and that we learn about a partnership sooner than later...because again he and HHH didn't meet just to discuss Giulia not over the multiple days he was there. To me I have always been of the mindset for female wrestlers especially it should practically be a requirement you go on an excursion to Japan for atleast a few months because it just makes a world of difference in skillset and Mariah May is great recent proof of that...if she didn't go to Japan IMO she doesn't wrestle anywhere near the skill level she does right now. So many NXT women would come out of there 100 times better...like I imagine Thea Hale in story going on a cultural exchange program and coming back hitting like Tam Nakano.

MariGolds first training session.
Always interesting to watch how much emphasis they put on strenghtening their necks.

Wonder if the two mystery partners end up being NXT Women or something. Def think sending some intermediate level NXT talent could be great for both companies
The unmarried thing comes off as weird, but it’s to keep men out of the dojo right? It kinda makes sense to me if that’s the case. Age thing is also weird, but it feels like every UK wrestler who’s like 20 years old has been wrestling for at least 5 years each so maybe it’s just the US where we’re not training kids regularly 🤔

So regardless of what I think of all of this personally, can’t help but be happy for her to get the opportunity. Oh that's fantastic news. I worked with Myla once a couple of years ago and she was just an absolute gem of a person. Funny story, a few of the talent went to Nandos before the show and everyone but Myla were well into their meals, turns out Myla hadn't changed her location on the app so her food was waiting for her in Northern Ireland 😂
