Rhea spoiler for a Raw six months from now: “Liv, I’m gonna break your mind, your body. And I’m gonna drag your soul STRAIGHT TO HELL!!” Liv: ''(Puzzled expression) Hell? How is the Dungeon hell?''

Shoulder injuries can take 6-8 months to recover from on a good pace. And that’s like with no complications during recovery. So we’re looking at like November-January as her return window of everything goes well. At that point if I am WWE I just save her for the Rumble and milk that massive explosive pop when the countdown clock hits 0, “BRRRR”, and her music hits.

My heart breaks for Rhea and I feel almost equally bad for Liv, who obviously didn’t mean for this to happen.
But, where do you from here in storyline? Liv ended the historic championship reign of probably the most beloved *heel* in recent memory with chair-assisted cheap shot backstage on RAW.
Storyline wise, the rest of Judgement Day (the evil bad guy group) should be out for literal blood. Dom’s not afraid of prison, after all. Liv hurt *Mami* badly enough to make her vacate the title and leave Judgement Day on their own for an indeterminate amount of time.
It’d make storyline sense to redo the Abyss\RVD thing from TNA where it looked like a horror movie, but that’s pretty unlikely.

I can buy it just on the level that Rhea is the kind of character who would go, "No. Save her for me."

Bummer of a way for it to end. Hope the rehab goes smooth and quicker than expected, but it's still too long out to keep her as champ.
Hell of a springboard for Liv as a character, both in terms of a title shot but also character development.

I just watched the incident that injured. What the f*** was that chair shot and who the f*** approved that?
Pinging a chair at someone's head from behind is just asking for trouble

Pinging a chair at someone's head from behind is just asking for trouble It hit her shoulder first, but it was an unnecessary risk. Seemed such a stupid spot. Easy for things to go wrong with that. Why not just have her hit Rhea on the back with the chair as normal? The tried and tested safe chair shot.

Bryan on WOR this morning mentioned that from what he's heard, the timeframe for this type of injury is about 4-6 weeks to regain mobility, and then another 3 months before Rhea would be cleared. So roughly 4 to 4.5 months before we could possibly see her back. So she is likely out until after Summerslam at the earliest. Dave thinks she could be back before that though, because of Summerslam being shortly before her actual recovery time.

So which scenario is more ideal? She flat out vacates the title or gets goaded into a match and is pinned cleanly with everyone knowing she's injured? She could go for the Roman option and just disappear for several months with the title. I'm not saying it's a good choice but we've seen Roman and Brock do it for years.
Really though, it sucks that she has to vacate it but I am a fan of champions who are actually around so I'm okay with this and it gives Rhea a ready made story when she comes back.

Heenan: Rhea tried to shoulder bust through the wall to escape Liv! what an act of cowardice. Monsoon: Are you blind?!
