Yes because since Cody came back one match I really wanted to see was AJ Styles vs Cody Rhodes.

Oh hell no. Unless it’s Boneyard 2 vs. Uncle Howdy

I think Cody should be a fighting Champion. A fighting Champion would be defending against all comers. Old, young, former champs.. regardless of current status. I doubt it would be hard to present AJ as credible, and I'm sure they could have some good matches.

It's fine. The match should be good. Do I think AJ has a chance in hell of winning... No. If there isn't anything thing else interesting on the card I'll probably skip Backlash.

The main event scene where the other show has Jey Uso and Damien Priest?
Yeah. AJ is probably fine.

I wouldn't be surprised if he retires in the next couple years, so I guess I'd be fine with one more main event run.

There are guys with limited skill sets, but AJ Styles is not that Herb. And AJ will do whats best for business. So AJ can display some incredible moves while Cody gets the shine through the babyface comeback and the 1-2-3. Everyone wins here.

I can’t remember ever seeing a Cody vs AJ match, so I’m excited for that at least.
