Really wild show. Its 10 out of 10 in terms of memorable Dynamites. Mostly for that closing angle. I like my shows to be more matches and this was more angles. It kinda reminded me in some ways of a Hogan era TNA show. I don't mean that in a bad way necessarily, just that the angles and talking seemed to be the big talking points whereas I'm used too (and prefer) the matches being the talking points.
And I really dislike Daly's Place and the set up. Acoustics are bad. Never like them doing shows in this place post pandemic.
I'll go 7

7/10, was good but the audio issues knocked it down a notch for me.
I enjoyed the Gauntlet Match the most from last night but tuned out as I wasn't interested in the main event segment with TK.
I saw it afterwards and thought it was funny but would hope that TK won't be a permanent fixture on the shows moving forward.

the problem is with these polls is people vote 10 for shows like this which was at most a 7. ruins the poll cos they want aew to get the high rating There are always troll votes in AEW polls which I think is more of an issue. Haven’t seen it nearly as much elsewhere. I think a lot of people vote high to counteract the troll votes. There are also a lot of people who really like AEW. For me this was an honest 10 show. It flew by and I loved the last angle. Yes I’m biased because I’m a huge Bucks fan.

We could just be enjoying the more than others and can ignore stuff like bad audio because it's out of their control or think the gauntlet match outweighed any crappiness from Jericho. 10 doesn't mean it's without flaws to me. 10 is the max amount of enjoyment I got out of a show. The Elite taking out TK is going to be remembered far longer than anything else that could have been meh about this show.

I got a feeling this is going to be one of those episodes/moments

3. The audio was annoying. The TBS champ gets a celebration, yet the world champ, your first Black male champion, gets....a cold match with Kyle Fletcher. Jericho was not good in his latest attempt to stay relevant. I liked the Willow segment, but she's gotta look at who she's talking to and not at the camera. The women's match was good, and Shibata made me laugh. But the end with TK taking a 'bump' was just ridiculous. Nobody comes out to help until the Bucks, etc. leave? The show had been on an upswing recently, but since the stupid videotape thing, it's been dragged down again. The locker room for Daily's Place is a very long way from the arena, that's why it took that long for help to arrive. This has been a constant for Daily's Place shows from the very beginning And Swerve getting a match to show he's a fighting champion doesn't exactly hurt him at all? He went out, showed out, and won, how is that worse than a segment?? Dude, sorry I don't see the shows the way you do. It was just not good to me.

It was a low key week 1 for Swerve as champ, he could have done with a quick promo post match but it's literally 1 week. I'm not gonna sh*t the bed over his reign right now. This show was all about the New Elite angle and if Swerve is facing Perry at DON then that will be a very good start to his reign IMO

Loved the show. Gave it a 10.
Jericho almost bumped it down but that closing angle was just so wild I had to give it the full 10 lmao
Plus Chuck finally said shit. Perfection.

Had a bit of a raw after wm feel, which is mostly a good thing as a one off.
Mina is a good guest, fun gauntlet, Callis Family actually tried to get a group dynamic going, Mercedes was tolerable. So a shame Hobbs got injured. Although the slim chance of Takeshita winning the iwgp belt after njpw tried to poach him from ddt would make happier than any result in recent memory.
Great end angle and Jericho sucked.
8/10
