Power Rangers in general. Just....that. Still going on, albeit with new series and lineups, yet hard to believe it has done so since 1993. And of course it's even crazier when you take in the fact that the Super Sentai franchise has been pretty much running a series every year since 1975.

The original Masters of the Universe franchise only lasted from 1982-1987, yet He-Man is still seen as an 80s icon. Similarly, for as influential as it is on the rest of the franchise (and in particular, some of the voice cast), the G1 Transformers cartoon was only around from September 1984 until November 1987.

Both He-man and Transformers remained popular long after their original runs. I wasborn in 83, yet I was definitely watching episodes of both on TV long past ther original end date. Both were also completely transformative (no pun intended) to the TV landscape in the 80s even after their original run.

Dunno if it ever really made to US, but that period after garagerock revival there was a short transition from 77' punk to that university indie rock.

The entirety of Tupac Shakur's legacy happened in six years. Digital Underground, the solo breakout, the Thug Life rebrand, going to prison, signing with Death Row, his acting career, his untimely demise, all happened from 1990 to 1996. There are modern artists who have albums in production longer than that. Tupac was absurdly prolific. Between 1995 and 1996, he released Me Against The World, went to prison, made a double album to get out of his contract, died and already had another completed album to release

Two 65-episode-syndicated seasons, but yeah.

Wrestling example!
The Four Horsemen lineup everyone thinks was the best ever (Flair, Barry, Tully, AA)? Only lasted a handful of months.

Another rap example, NWA, incredibly influential and controversial rap group, only had 3 albums (the first of which isnt nearly as well-known) and one EP (which was attached to later pressings of their 3rd album). The members have put out more albums as solo artists than as a group.

With G1 TF they got repeated in syndication a few times. In the early 90s you had the TFG2 edits airing on syndication and then the original cuts of G1 every day on SciFi channel. MotU on the other hand appeared to fade from the airwaves by 88. Replaced a few years later with that New Adventures of He-man show that most try to forget.

While the Masters of the Universe cartoon ended after the second season, the She-Ra spinoff could be considered a continuation, as He-Man characters (including late period characters like Stonedar and Snout Spout, as well as the evil Horde obviously) appeared frequently on that show.
EDIT: Heck, this promo is almost saying "I'll be on this show too kids, it's not just a girls show":

When She Ra started He man moved from teh channel out of Mobile to one out of Florida. The same one I had to tape my rabbit ears in the right spot in my window to get.
Saw maybe 3 episodes of She Ra back then and gave up.

Feels like in the States the Spice Girls were huge for 5 years. Nope maybe 2 tops. Felt like the opposite to me. Seems like they got a movie deal right after they hit it big, then Ginger leaves and everyone seemed to forget about them.

MotU had an issue in that while it was the first of the 80s toy cartoons, it was the first so the animation style was noticeably a bit primitive. Transformers, GI Joe, Thundercats etc. All had a similar style, fluidity of animation. He-Man really stood out amongst that.

Look at Bravestarrr which is a few years after MotU it looks almost the same. Filmation had that limited/reused asset style. Which is why so much of their stuff looks the same. No clue if stuff liek Blackstarr or their Tarzan cartoons played outside the States but shots from both got reused in MotU.

Syndication was king so even though when He-Man and Transformers actually ended my brain may not have been capable of making memories, I have plenty of memories watching He-Man and Transformers as a kid. Plus VHS tapes used to be EXPENSIVE. Especially if your parents didn’t make a lot of money or were cheap. So if you lucked into some He-Man, Transformers, etc tapes those things got worn out!

There were a lot of shows that only ran for 2 or 3 seasons that seemed to go on longer because of syndication, from animated shows like Masters of the Universe and Transformers, to classic sitcoms like Gilligan's Island and The Addams Family. Star Trek is probably the most famous example of this phenomenon.
