The Elite really need to win Anarchy in the Arena and I expect they will. There's no benefit to anyone in them losing right now.
But much more important than some silly wrestling match, hopefully Timberlake's Cry Me a River is ready to go for Jack Perry's entrance

I think The Elite win with Hangman's return. Then you can start reeling Sweve in more

I theorised Bryan turning on Team AEW and siding with the Elite but he got beaten up badly tonight I wrote off the possibility.
Page coming back makes sense.

Heel Hangman simply cannot be otherwise the world would end, so hopefully he joins Team AEW

I think we need heel Hangman, but it's driven almost entirely by his hatred of Swerve.
Because then we can get Redemption Arc Hangman, and it could be glorious.

Hangman should basically be the Sting in all of this. Rafters and vulture and everything.

YEH.
I'm feeling Hangman's Redemption Arc, because really....Adam The Unhinged has every reason to still be so. Not only did Swerve menace his family, not only does he have the title but the AEW audience cheers this man?
At this point it wouldn't be out of character for Hangman to show up in the audience as he's foaming at the mouth and flailing angrily not caring who he hits.
The Elite has the most enticing bait for Hangman, even though I do think Swerve would lose the title to a heel, I don't think it'd be Hangman. Maybe Hangman's final and highest profile loss to Swerve could lead to him having a change of heart?

Maybe he gets brought in by the Elite to handle Swerve, but goes against them when they inadvertently screw him over All honesty, I'd have it lead to Hangman taking the title off Swerve...though it could be a temporary thing, part of the larger story. Fact is, Hangman/Swerve as a feud did some really good business for AEW at the end of last year: announcing their match for Full Gear was supposedly a huge driver of late ticket sales to that show, and their segments had some of the show's better ratings. Given how and where Swerve is being positioned, and given Hangman's established place in the AEW pecking order, it's not out of line to say the two of them can essentially serve as your main protagonists moving forward - Ospreay's rise may be a factor in shaping that, but Will's not firmly established as a main draw for AEW yet the way Hangman is and the way Swerve seems to be becoming one, so I'd go with those two guys as the main focus for a bit. I think you likely get the best business out of that by still positioning them against one another for awhile; you could even get this chapter of the story to culminate at All In and your the biggest possible audience, though there are multiple ways that can go, too. Then, once you've had them go all out (no pun intended) on one another, you get the hints going that Hangman doesn't really want what the Bucks are offering; all he wanted was to set things right against Swerve, not be part of their larger plans. That then sets him up for potential matches with guys like Perry and Okada going into 2025-2026. Obviously everything I'm saying could be total BS, but I do think a stretch of time where these two top guys trade the belt a couple of times but mostly focus on destroying one another (or Swerve focuses on trying to prove he's not as evil as he once was, but is still willing to tear Hangman apart) could give you some pretty big crowd reactions and do good business...along with just generally being awesome, since the two of them seem made for one another.

Elite, as expected, win AITA, and no Hangman in sight... so the road to Blood & Guts looks to be an interesting one, if that's where this is all gonna pay off.

Idle thought: this angle has to be bookended with Tony Khan cold-cocking one of the Jackson brothers or Jack Perry, maybe during Blood & Guts.

Idle thought: this angle has to be bookended with Tony Khan cold-cocking one of the Jackson brothers or Jack Perry, maybe during Blood & Guts. On one hand I get it, on the other I like how much of a doddering fool Tony is, and letting the wrestlers do the work remains pretty preferrable to seeing Tony try to throw a worked punch. Or, god forbid, a real punch.
