all I know is that how HHH books Kiana will go a long way towards showing what the future of him booking the division will look like because she’s way above average across the board. like there’s nothing she’s particularly bad at in comparison to many of these women, she’s as rock solid of a prospect as they come. hopefully she can be given a nice storyline to throw herself into as a 1v1 character.

When Nick and Pearce were on NXT they specifically mentioned having an eye on the women's division and how great it is, that was nice to see it get some love. If only HHH had someone in NXT who could help him figure out how to create similar success on the main shows, perhaps a longtime friend who is in charge of booking? If only.

I'd be amazed if HHH didn't speak to Shawn, at least occasionally, about the NXT roster and listened to his thoughts about how to get certain talents over.
At least HHH seems to be planning on keeping Kiana's business gimmick and Tiffany's gimmick as well come to think of it.
See how things go for Kiana but I'm happy for her to get the chance.

I'm surprised they drafted her, because I thought they'd continue the story with Izzie, but I'm interested to see what they do with her. Do you think her "Boss" character (which I know she had in NXT) is a semi response to AEW adding the "CEO"?

Kiana James is the kind of wrestler I can really see having a main roster run that is much stronger than her NXT run, like an Alexa Bliss or a Carmella.

I'd be amazed if HHH didn't speak to Shawn, at least occasionally, about the NXT roster and listened to his thoughts about how to get certain talents over. At least HHH seems to be planning on keeping Kiana's business gimmick and Tiffany's gimmick as well come to think of it. See how things go for Kiana but I'm happy for her to get the chance. I mean he’s botched Alba and Isla on the MR every single step of the way. |

One problem with NXT callups is that they get great character development and world building in the outside of the ring stuff and then they get to the main roster and it’s “go have a good match and lose to one of the top people”

When Kiana has to speak like a normal human being I think she does really well. When she has to act and deliver ridiculous NXT dialogue, we get the top women's Locker room segment of all time. It's damn near impossible for anybody to pull off some of the shit they have people say in NXT. |

She is a good talent and a great heel and WWE always does well with female heels. Heel Alexa, Nia, Damage Control, Chelsea and Piper, the new Candace and Indi are doing good stuff, Tiffany of course, Heel Bayley was awesome, Rhea Ripley of course, Bad ass Shayna at her best, Roxanne Perez, Corda Jade, Charlotte etc, WWE rarely gets it wrong with heel talent. I dont recall an NXT female baby face debuting on the main roster for years? Certainly no one memorable.

TBF I never said he'd take all of Shawn's advice regarding their character works or anything. And no booker is going to be perfect. As far Kiana and Tiffany go over (and Carmelo and Bron if we're including the guys) only time will tell I suppose. |
