He lasted months. So not quite a one-shot deal. Technically, Kizarny had promos + a match?

Juan Cena was working the WWE House show circuit for a hot minute, but never made it to TV. Dude had a lot of potential too, going by reports at the time.

If there wasn't a website dedicated to these guys, they would have long been forgotten by anyone. I needed video evidence to prove neither was a fever dream.

As exploited by Funny or Die. So like the one shot sitcom characters. Only wrestling. Muffy Mower was like a fever dream, so....yeah. She had a last name??

Braden Walker
Friar Ferguson
DJ Gabriel - the dancing guy who was paired with Alicia Fox in WWECW just after Fox was an adulterous wedding coordinator on Smackdown
The Headbanger - Not Mosh and Thrasher. Canadian wrestler Jos LeDuc, managed by Frenchy Martin, appeared on Prime Time Wrestling in 1988, facing jobber Brian Costello. LeDuc lost by DQ when he refused to stop headbutting the unconscious Costello.
The Sisters of Love - Actually Mosh and Thrasher. Dressed as nuns and managed by Brother Love.

While he was there since 1986, Sivi Afi as a member of the Islanders in 1988 (right after their lone squash, Tama left, Sivi left with him, and Haku became King).

I know he appeared more then one time, but I think AEW's closest answer to this is gonna be Trench so far.

I actually came in to mention Ferguson I remember him having one match on TV where he kept lifting his Friar's robe and doing a "wacky" dance. Then he went away and became the grotesque Bastion Booger. Whoever was handing out gimmicks at that time must have hated that dude

Christopher Daniels as the WCW Higher Power in 2000. He was going to be the cult leader behind all of Vampiroās spooky nonsense, he appeared in a cloak in one backstage segment, and was never seen or mentioned again.
He apparently appeared as Christopher Daniels on a couple of episodes of Worldwide and then on Nitro in January 2001, but no connections were ever made with the hooded figure.

He'll they might have gotten Curtis Iaukea's chair from the Dungeon of Doom days out of storage for it.

Tank of the Truth Commission technically made 2 appearances instead of 1. They were both on Shotgun Saturday Night.
I don't remember Muffy having a last name, but the woman who played her is named Caryn Mower. Caryn Mower - as in the performer not the Muffy character - got a writeup in WOW Magazine (that late 90s pro wrestling mag written for smarks instead of marks) is how I remember this.
