Back in early Feb 2011 MCW started it's short lived TV show. Was supposed to be weekly at 6am Saturdays on FOX 40 out of Jackson. And an for an hour.

Being 2011 almost no one recorded it. I happened to have a set-top DVD recorder hooked to my Satellite box. And recorded every aired episode to DVD-rs.

These DVDS got misplaced and found last week. The promoter of MCW doesnt have copies of this footage. So far none of the wrestlers have copies. Most of them never saw it.



Includes all the original commercials. Plus a few minutes of the show airing after MCW.

When I get the other 3 episodes ripped and online will add them to this thread.

And just got the message all episodes are ripped and DVD-R copies are being made right now.

Gonna dealer a few sets tonight.

Monday or Tuesday will get episodes 2,3,4 online.

And if the one in this thread goes down. I already got 2 backups in place.

Not really. I did just see a young Cassidy Riley in episode 4.



Yep got the other 3 episodes ripped and uploaded earlier today.

Episode 2 aired a week late so Feb 19th 2011. The show was listed as 6am till 7am on Fox 40. But 6am till 630 am on Feb 19th was an informercial.

If you just want the MCW episode skip ahead in the video above about 33 minutes.

Like episode 1 this has all the original ads. And seems besides one guy,who was #500 on the PWI 500 a long time ago,with copies on VHS my DVD-rs are the only surviving copies of this show.

Can I claim to have discovered some LOST MEDIA? Was it ever really lost when the DVDs have been sitting on my shelf for over a decade?

Will the next episode of MCW tv air on time and be the full hour?

Why is Mike Carter called The Son of JYD when JYD only had daughters?

MCW TV episode 03

Again it was a week late and again was 30 minutes. So skip ahead about 33 minutes to get to MCW.

Got original ads again.

MCW TV episode 04 FINAL AIRED EPISODE

March 19th 2011 so aired a week late. But this time it is back to 1 hour and what an hour it is.

Got a promo,as seen in the thumbnail,from the then Mid South Champion Cassidy Riley,and how is he working a MCW show in April up in Vicksburg.

I got it playing now about 20 minutes in is a match between Marvelous Monty Warbucks and the Prince of Pain Joe Kane. Both of whom are still wrestling. Pretty sure this match might be one of the causes of MCW TV dying...more on that in the next post.

Also saw one of the Puma's appeared. I think that is Blue Puma,a masked identity for a ref/wrestler. And appears that was XICW footage from Pascagoula MS. The infamous venue were someone nearby saw New Jack hit the ring with weapons and called the police about "A gang member is acting the wrestlers at the Fairgrounds Officer"

So MCW and why it didn't last on TV. Why it was weeks later with episodes. Plus why it was sometimes 30 minutes instead of an hour.

Mississippi Championship Wrestling was owned and ran by Mike Carter. Who wrestling as Son of JYD Mike Carter. This is a fact. Most of everything after this is rumor and stuff I have been told but never got totally confirmed.

After episode 1 aired I got a friend request from the MCW FB account. Not back then knowing it was Mike Carter. When episode 2 didn't air the next week I messaged the account got told "The DVD I sent Fox 40 wouldn't play. We are back next week". And yes they were back next week but only 30 minutes instead of an hour.

MCW was paid programming. Supposedly the station didnt get the money to air episode 2 the week it was suppose to air. Then the next week MCW only had money for a 30 minute slot. So episode 2 was cut in half.

Then I mentioned that a Monty Warbucks vs Joe Kane match from Episode 4 might be why the show ended.

Episode 4 is made up of footage from other feds. Appearing to mostly be stuff MCW stole off youtube. Like right now I am 35 minutes into episode 4 aand it is a ESPN CLASSIC airing from AWA of Brickhouse Brown vs Iceman King Parsons.

I was told by the co owner of the fed that the Monty vs Joe match is from that they were told MCW stole the footage and aired it. So this fed contacted FOx 40 and let them know MCW was using footage they didnt have the rights too. And Fox 40 refused to air any thing else from MCW.

Also was told by people that worked for MCW that the money for TV ran out fast.

Anyways hope yall enjoyed this rare regional indie wrestling that aired for a short time on TV.
