More like they told him he had to. Doesn’t sound like something he’d go for at all back in the day. I mean, no, because Vince (and WWE in general) wouldn’t know a co-operative relationship if it went up to them and had a step by step guide. The only reason it’s likely to happen now is that they’re under the same umbrella so have to. That and Dana always seemed to dislike the pro wrestling stuff. He openly hated whenever fighters would dress in costumes during walkouts and weigh ins, I think it’s part of the reason they started the uniforms.

In the future, families from all over will gather around their hologram projectors for Power Slap Fiday. Followed by "Ow my Balls!"

It could be years from now, but I have no doubt they will someday have a WWE-UFC supercard. Whether it's WWE going into the Octagon or UFC coming to the squared circle. They book it like the NJPW/UWFi feud.

Please keep PLE’s on Saturdays Took me a while to adjust to them changing to Saturdays but I agree, especially since my son has recently started watching wrestling with me so he can watch the PLE's live with me when they're on Saturdays whereas he'd have to catch up the next day if it were on Sundays.

Dana White's bosses: "allow?..." More or less what I expect is happening, that Dana is preemptively saving face (as much as Dana is capable of it, anyhow) by trying to act like he'd be keen on it, versus knowing they can just make him acquiesce if they want to.

I cant imagine many of the UFC people wanting to do it for fear their cred will be damaged doing the 'fake' stuff. I mean Dana's quote on this includes him saying that many of his fighters dream of having a match in WWE. And really, why wouldn't they? There are jobbers in WWE who are higher profile than UFC World Champions.

it would be absolutely great to see this guy in the worst jail on earth Imagine if we could just lock Vince and Dana into a cell and have them have to suffer one another until one of them decomposes. Just let them be each others' problem adn nobody else's.

Mixed cards will do nothing but piss off both fan bases. I’d imagine there’s more WWE UFC fans than UFC WWE fans. So it’ll be nothing more than appearances on each others PPVs for a little cross promotion.

So it’ll be nothing more than appearances on each others PPVs for a little cross promotion. Which is likely the best way of doing it. UFC stars appear on WWE TV more often to promote shows, they can piggyback off of WWE shows to add buzz and sell cross brand tickets and you can have WWE stars in the front row of shows to make them seem like slightly bigger deals. Anything else is just naff, really.

Yeah, put me in the camp of not wanting to see this. People like the UFC because it's real. People like the WWE because it's fun. I have yet to see the MMA-Pro Wrestling hybrid attempt that's either real or fun. Who's it gonna appeal to?
