Would've put money on her return setting up a long-overdue one-on-one with Becky Lynch and then it just never happened. That never made sense to me. Becky was the only one who ever pinned her, you'd think Ronda would want revenge but she targeted Charlotte instead. Charlotte getting feuds that should've went to Becky is a mistake they often made. They did it again the following year with Rhea and while they did eventually get to that one by the time they did Becky was the coldest she had ever been and it didn't feel like a big deal any more.

It was an open secret she was in negotiations for a return. One of the first threads I ever made here was a poll about who'd win that Rumble and she was the landslide winner so it was expected by many that she'd be there despite it not being officially announced. It was a bit like Edge 2 years earlier actually. They never promoted his return and wanted it to be a surprise but there had been enough rumblings in the dirtsheets that he had been cleared and was planning a comeback that a lot of people assumed he would return at the Rumble.
Her return overall was really bad I thought. She was basically a worse version of late 2018-early 2019 Ronda which itself was a worse version of Jan-Nov 2018 Ronda who actually surprised a lot of people and seemed like she was going to be a natural.

Not the way I'd have done it, ... but unlike the majority thinks I thought Rousey vs. Liv was the feud of the year. 😊
