Isn't Bill Russell number retired league wide? Technically every team has a retired jersey but I get what y'all mean as far as players who played for the franchise

This only leaves the Clippers now as the only franchise with no retired jerseys.... I guess Blake Griffin would be the logical first choice when the time comes. i doubt we'll retire anyone soon, maybe Blake one day but we did him extremely dirty What about Michael Olowakandi?

I actually got to see him play once, right around when the TWolves had Cassell/Choke a coach and KG. Some guy in the crowd was like HEY KANDI MAN YOU SUCK DICK and he just shrugged lmao.

May have even won the championship if it weren't for the Kobe/Shaq Lakers.

I thought they had it in the bag, they were super dominant but Wolves gonna Wolves I think they would've been a tougher matchup for the Pistons than the Lakers were, but I'd still like to think the Pistons were winning regardless.

D-Rose calling it a career. Such a huge “what if.” Youngest MVP ever, gonna be some Hall of Fame debate on this one I’m sure.

Rose would been a Hall of Famer without the injury but he doesn’t get it which is no shame
For him to have gotten 15 years outta his career after that knee injury is a big accomplishment

The only in NBA history(so gar) and the 3rd in the major sport leagues after Jackie Robinson(42) in MLB & Wayne Grezkty(99) in the NHL. NFL hasn't done it yet.

Since it is basketball HOF, if he had the College stats and Olympics he probably would got in

I have no idea if he is or isn't a HOFer. I know he was well onto his way to being one, then injuries chopped him down. John Wall was the same way. Went from a certified handful to guard to being just another NBA player.
It's sad, but it's part of the game. Especially in the NBA. In the NFL, NBA, UFC etc there are guys who start a career hot and then fall off. But with the NBA it really seems like these guys are maximizing the absolute most the human body can do. All of these guys are freak athletes trying constantly to get a half a percentage faster, quicker, more explosive. Derrick Rose, T-Mac, Amare, and those guys are collateral damage for a game that probably should have, logically speaking, more career-changing injuries.

KAT to the Knicks been rumored for years
This gives them their 5 and I assume either Hart or OG will play the 4

Wow if this gets done. The Knicks front office suddenly have decided now is the time. If it works great, if it doesn't, give them credit for trying.
