The students help out a lot with the grunt work.

Then what do the road agents do? Just go over spots? they work with the wrestlers backstage, and help plan where to go next

Then what do the road agents do? Just go over spots? Yeah, they pretty much help workers put together matches.

Do wrestlers get to practice big spots before they happen?

Do wrestlers get to practice big spots before they happen? yeah, but remember, even some big spots are spur of the moment things (I think that may have been the case with lesners SSP on angle), but yeah, most big spots and finishes are practiced before hand

you have no idea just how true that is Yeah, I've picked that up from going to a few shows and watching guys just set up the ring beforehand. and it's probably the most annoying part of wrestling, because when doing the ropes they have to be done perfectly, all 4 courners tightened at the same time, or the turnbuckles will be crooked and the ropes will be to loose

I've always wondered how matches like the Royal Rumble were set up. I think Quake said that when you enter, you know the guy you eliminate and the guy who eliminates you, and you try to steer clear of the winner.

At the last show I went to, the crew was still trying to put up a little cage during the middle of a match. It was hilarious, because they only managed to get 3 sides of the cage on the ring.

I think Quake said that when you enter, you know the guy you eliminate and the guy who eliminates you, and you try to steer clear of the winner. I was in some battle royals (my first match was one) and we had no set order just a winner, I was the 2nd to last person eliminated, and it took the last person eliminated and the winner to get me over because they didn't understand that I hadn't been taught to go over backwards yet and they didn't want to throw me over forward

I suppose it's set up differently for something like the Royal Rumble though.
