We'll have reached a new peak of pearl clutching if people are really gonna start going "Damn, AEW ONLY drew 50 thousand fans to a show?" lmfao

Its just a shame that they could have sold even more if they had made prices reasonable.

Maybe the prices will decrease closer to showtime tbh, they did for Wales and Wales sold out or is getting close

Lest we all forget, the truly important thing about ticket sales is that we make sure we get an unhinged conspiracy theory thread about how many people were actually at All In after the show

It can be both. Even if AEW wanted to, they couldn't open up the entire stadium like last year because of Swift. But, they haven't fully sold the stadium that is open. I don't think that "only" getting 50k this time around is anything to be worried about though. A second year straight was always going to be a harder sell and then they upped the prices. Also, we’re talking about a US based company selling tens of thousands of tickets for a venue. Something literally no other company has done since WCW ended. Could it be better? Sure, but we do get really wrapped in certain narratives and not look at the bigger picture of a company actually being capable of doing that not just in America and Europe but globally. The only companies close are pretty much New Japan and the big two in Mexico and that’s literally it. But people going into “Man, they only sold 50k, they should be selling more” is bizarre. It only makes sense if you can name another company capable of even coming close which nobody can.

Yet he never does this for WWE

Yet he never does this for WWE I will say, I do joke about the Tunstall thing but the Texas Attorney General is being sued by WWE right now because Brandon asked to get information about how much San Antonio bid for the 2023 Royal Rumble which is a fair thing to ask in the sense of it supposed to be public information. I just don't know what anyone really got from it when Brandon didn't ask anyone about any other event, never mind WWE.

Makes sense. One thing they got grilled for last year was leaving people off the card.

If Hook murders Fozzy mid-performance he'll be the face of the company.

This is why I can't get into this new Jericho character; self-awareness doesn't make charming that he's still doing the exact same things and taking up all the exact same air time.

If Hook murders Fozzy mid-performance he'll be the face of the company. This is 100% what should happen. Jericho comes out, says he's gonna play his latest theme song (the one nobody likes/knows). Hook comes out and murders them all.

Yeah an uninterrupted Fozzy performance simply can't be allowed, especially on a card like this where it feels like time can't afford to be wasted anywhere. A lengthy musical performance followed by a match going too long would be a big double blow.
Have Hook interrupt, batter Jericho, survive a mini comeback so Jericho gets some of his spots in, then win decisively the way it looked like he was going to in their first meeting.
