Wouldnt mind that. Chris Pratt was a decent cowboy in Magnificent Seven. And can play a wannabe macho goof. You're not wrong, but it's also the laziest choice possible. Hollywood Producer: Wannabe macho goof? Nah. Chris Pratt costs too much. Zachary Levi it is! ... Sorry. Anyway: As much as he's discussed it, I'd love to see Josh Ruben get a shot at remaking/rebooting DARKMAN.

Two I want a remake of The Warriors and The Running Man I hear that the new version of "The Running Man" is going to lean closer to the book this time.

Before Star Wars fell completely into the gutter, I actually wanted the prequels to be re-done by a more capable director.

I hear that the new version of "The Running Man" is going to lean closer to the book this time. I think that's really the only way it could be done.

A remake of Sylvester Stallone’s Cobra, but with Michael Cera in the title role.

Two I want a remake of The Warriors and The Running Man "The Warriors"? Never. There was a sort of mystique around 'gang culture' back then that wouldn't translate to today's audience. Besides, the only guy in can think of who could do Cyrus' speech right was Dwayne Johnson and he's much too old for that now.

It's funny, because it just struck me that The Matrix Reloaded had Lawrence Fishburne essentially give the Cyrus speech to the people of Zion just before the big party. He'd have been a great Cyrus 20 years ago.

I would like to see how something like "Basic Instict" would be done today or a technologically modernized version of "Videodrome".

Honestly I'd like a remake of Earthquake! I think that could be great today (I'll ignore San Andreas as a semi-attempt a few years back) Spawn! - Yeah the 90s movie was fine but they should have another stab at it. Them! - Giant Ants vs the world. But more importantly this film was actually really good and it's kind of a disappointing we don't have a modern version. I hear that the new version of "The Running Man" is going to lean closer to the book this time. Eh the book is okay, but I'd actually prefer an even more extravagant remake of the film version honestly. Gladiators meets Fury Road with someone like Jake Gyllenhaal as Ben Richards. But beef up the game more, have more hunters with daft gimmicks.

Sarah still managed to be less annoying than the Greenpeace guy who was singlehandedly responsible for everything that went wrong AND got away with it without being eaten. Vince Vaughn in a Jurassic Park movie felt super out-of-place at the time, and ten times more so in 2024. Ah yes the Vince Vaughn in serious roles era of films see the Psycho remake and The Cell. Actually a remake of the The Cell would be interesting, that was a very strange serial killer film.

I could deal with a more book faithful movie of Jurassic Park, though between all the sequels swiping the best unused scenes, it probably wouldn't go over well, I think Jurassic Park left a lot on the table that could make a kick-ass remake. The only way theyd make a novel accurate version of Jurassic Park is if it was rated R, because from what I heard the book is incredibly in depth with its death scenes.

Most recently, I'm pretty sure the Russos were attached to a TV series that went nowhere EDIT: From wikipedia

I’ve thought for a while that I could see a streaming miniseries of Blair Witch. Ea h episode is set in a different time period. The first episode is the trial of Ellie Kedward. Second episode is about the massacre on coffin rock, and so on until the final episode is about the investigation to find the missing film makers.

Running Man remake? Well, then, they can just make any actor/actress the host. It would line up with how game show hosting jobs are cast now.
Wasn't there Videodrome and Logan's Run remakes planned? Granted Logan had [MR. BLACK!] from the X-Men movies pegged as director, so....

Them! - Giant Ants vs the world. But more importantly this film was actually really good and it's kind of a disappointing we don't have a modern version. "Them!" is a legit great movie. One of the few giant monster films where the parts with the humans trying to figure out how to deal with the threat aren't boring filler for the scenes where the creatures show up. I'm surprised no one has ever tried to remake "Time Bandits"
