That call in show would be G4TV.com. I kinda miss that, too. Ugh. That and Judgment day getting canceled was a good day.

I don't know about the rest of you guys, but that skit where Morgan had a bad Austrian accent was kind of sexy. Agreed. She should do it more often.

I just hate that G4 thinks every gamer has a liberal lean. (DON'T START ANY POLITICAL ARGUMENTS BECAUSE I MENTIONED IT IN PASSING.)
Otherall, the reviews are good... Most of the humor is pretty bad though.

The humor is forced and sucks now, aka, it has Family Guy humor.
I liked the Tech TV days.....
Also, as much as I love the X-Play crew, I rather accept the scores from Reviews on the Run(Judgement Day), as both Victor Lucas and Tommy Tallarico(sp?) are guys that actually WORK in the gaming business, albeit things like music in the games(Tommy), it is still in the business.

G4 really sucks. They ruined everything good about TechTV and turned into a channel where stupid people talk about really bad unfunny internet fads and try to make themselves look cool.

I used to like that wimpy guy and that Italian-looking dude they used to have reviewing games. Sessler is just too annoying to watch for very long. You mean Electric Playground and Judgement Day. You mean...oh man I forgot the wimps name but the italian is Tommy Tallarico if im thinking of the same show you are. I didnt like Tommy at first because he always seemed to bash anything that seemed unique, but he did make some good points, not to mention fuel my campaign for a (then current gen but now...)next gen Road Rash. ROAD RASH! Man I loved those games... ...anyways, yeah G4 sucks nowadays, everyones gotta give into the dollar. Still dont see why they have to have marathons of Star Trek every damn day. I cant believe (apparently) that reruns of Cheaters get more viewers then G4TV.com... ...and yeah I hate how Morgan and Adam have to play those "loser asshole" characters but I actually like X-Play, pretty funny to me...

Remember that review of the Star Fox game for the Nintendo DS? The one where they had a cartoon of John Glenn saying he was going to have buttsex with people or something?
Yeah, that pissed me the hell off. I actually yelled at the TV "REVIEW THE GODDAMN GAME!"

I blame G4 for screwing with the times X-Play is on than X-Play itself. Morgan and Adam are usually right on with thier reviews or at least have reasons for giving games the scores they do. But man, is that show repeated a thousand times for every new show or what? that's actually preferable to me (the repeating thing), cuz, my cable company recently made it so G4's only on for people with cable boxes, and, since there's only one box in the house, I usually never get to watch it live (well, as it airs, I mean). I usually get to watch the repeats the following afternoon though

I prefer Reviews on the Run too. they actually get into why a game is good or bad as opposed to making bad jokes and nonsensical ratings. And, while Victor and Tommy DO make wise cracks and jokes, they are usually unscripted and are a part of the flow of the review, not breaking up the review as X-Play does. I can't wait for Reviews on the Run to get another channel deal(it can still air in America, just not as Judgement Day, so they will be using their real title). I mean while I don't REALLY agree with Tommy a whole lot, as I see him as a hypocrite(NO ONE gets away with giving We Love Katamari a below average score and then gives Charlie and the Chocolate Factory a 9/10 and doesn't get called a hypocrite!), I do see his points of views and reasons, but Victor's opinion is more spot on with what my opinion of the game is. Also, RotR has more reviews than X-Play, on average. RotR has between 3-4 regular reviews, a handheld review, a hardware review, the versus review(which has 2 regular reviews, thus bringing the regular review count to 5-6), and buried treasure and hit list segments ALL in 30 mins! That is 6-7 actual game reviews, 1 hardware review, and some nostalgia segments! X-Play had.....4-5 reviews total.....the reason is, you guessed it, the skits and jokes. They seriously are a waste of time when you have only 4-5 poorly done reviews(that could be better) compared to 9-10 segments of QUALITY information. To sum it up, RotR kills X-Play in both quality AND quantity. And finally, the final reason RotR > X-Play is, after each review, Victor and Tommy actually give us the pros and cons of the games! Adam or Morgan(whoever is doing the review) gives the score, and then they move on, no real recap of why the game is good or bad. Also, X-Play claims to be brutally honest, but RotR is more brutal, as only THREE, count them, THREE games have got a perfect 10/10 from BOTH Tommy and Victor, and those are Prince of Persia: Sands of Time, Burnout 3: Takedown, and Burnout Revenge. X-Play has 48 or so 5/5 games, tell me which one is more lenient. [/end rant]

X Play is just way too annoying to me nowadays. I remember the old days when you could tune in (When it was on Tech TV) and actually get game reviews without so many forced jokes. Do we really need forced jokes and recurring bits that have long since gone past the beating of a dead horse variety, like their Stan Lee impersonator? What do they call that, Roger the Stan Lee Experience. Please, no more ...

The Canadian Guy though, I hate that.

I like Sessler he seems like he knows about games. He seems to take a lot of crap from a lot of people but I think those people are just angry at the network like we are and should be.
Reviews on the Run pisses me off with Tommy Talleco because of his ain't Nintendo stance. He takes off points for games because it has Kirby. RATE THE GAME FOR WHAT IT IS NOT FOR WHAT YOU WANT IT TO BE. Yes broken or just boring games should be pointed out but if a children's game is good regardles one should point this out.

Again, more proof that Tommy is a hypocrite. He'll give Nintendo games low scores because they are "kiddy", but he gave CHARLIE AND THE MOTHERf***ING CHOCOLATE FACTORY a 9/10!
