I get not extending a RB, but to NOT extend the RB for a guy in Jones whose best season was his rookie year was not good.

I’m having a hard time deciding whether the Chiefs are an overrated 1-loss team or if they just like playing with their food. Because they should not be coming down to the wire against the lowly Panthers. I can answer it, they're ravaged by injuries, it's not mentioned much but they literally are missing a bunch of key starters. On top of that they try to win regular season games being as vanilla as possible. I also think complacency sets in, these guys don't think the season starts till the playoffs. |

Their defense held them to 16 points until that garbage time TD with less than a minute to go.
Also I see JK Dobbins is hurt. Again.

There will likely never be another dominant defense considering the NFLs rules now. As long as they win enough to get to the playoffs then we’ll find out like always.
