... as if Kross hasn't been one of HHH's guys forever? Triple H wanted to do a soul transfer with him... but then he grew out his hair and got snarky.

Fightful is suggesting via Patreon, their (Kross and Scarlett) contract's expire on Sunday, that WWE has not resigned them as yet - and that haven't even tried - and they'll both be free agents by next week.

A shame but guess the E needs to cut costs so they can pay for brocks monster salary

A shame but guess the E needs to cut costs so they can pay for brocks monster salary I don't think that's it. I think it's more like Kross has literally zero upside, and fans got bored of R-Truth in record time after demanding he be kept around, so they are likely being a lot more wary now.

With Kross, he basically costs you double because I doubt he re-signs without his wife. She barely wrestlers and WWE doesn't have traditional managers anymore besides Paul Heyman. I thought Kross was good in his backstage skits, but it didn't really translate in the ring. I'd be fine with him coming back, but I don't think it is a big loss if he leaves.

Kross has the same problems Bray did and that's once the bell rings his mystique is gone, and i loved Bray but his matches were never that good or great unless they were specialty matches it's all character less of a worker

... as if Kross hasn't been one of HHH's guys forever? Honestly, one can argue he's already had more chances than he should have because of that fact. I like Kross. His character work these days is great. But the vast majority of the roster can wrestle circles around him and that's a problem he'd face should he go to AEW.

Kross to me is like the perfect NBA highlight players if you want a cross-sport comparison. If you just watch YouTube or Twitter highlights he is awesome, but when you watch the actual game/match, he isn't good. So it is odd to say well still push him even if his matches suck because the end goal of all programs in WWE is to... wrestle and that doesn't seem to be very enjoyable.

This is a dude that people have tried to hype up since the whole TNA fiasco years ago, and he has never once come anywhere close to the supposed "potential" he has.
He's 40 and he's failed to get over spectacularly everywhere he's gone. At this point, I think it might be time to admit that it isn't going to happen and move on for him, the company, and the fans.
Oh, and Scarlett exists too, I guess. She'll find something to do somewhere.

After RTruth, I'm sure WWE are very aware of the buzz around him and I expect us to be worked.

Kross is more over than I realized. I saw more than a few Kross t-shirts at SummerSlam and the guy had a strong reception for being a midcarder not getting a huge amount of TV time. Genuinely feels like a toss-up.

Here is the conumdrum IMO. Okay he isn't gonna turning out bangers like other top tier talents....BUT this is something that can be fixed. The dude is amongst the very best promos in the company bar none and it is what has gotten him far more over than anyone thought possible Is it worth letting someone that has gotten this over with subar in ring skills walk into another company and with the possibility that his in ring skills do improve and he suddenly becomes this sensation but wont come back to your company because you gave up on him multiple times?

Kross really should been a Michael Hayes esque figure that contributed to six man tag matches, but largely used to verbally hype up a proverbial Gordy and Roberts that would handle the in ring stuff.

His character work these days is great. But the vast majority of the roster can wrestle circles around him and that's a problem he'd face should he go to AEW. In 2025 alone, Kross has had: - a featured role in a WrestleMania match between AJ Styles and Logan Paul - a feud with AJ Styles - a rivalry with Sami Zayn - two PLE matches against Sami Zayn I'm sure there are plenty of guys in catering who would kill to have had that 2025. Kross is the perfect example of mic work and presence can only get you so far. Even in a day and age where World Wrestling Entertainment is more focused than ever on Entertainment than Wrestling, you've still got to be able to do something in the ring. And for all the "We Want Kross" chants that we've heard in arenas all spring and summer, once the bell rings, they've fallen silent in record time.

I REALLY hate to sound like a dick, but the truth is Kross is the cause of the moment. Fans THINK they want Kross, they chant for him to stick it to creative/the office and then the bell rings and he puts on mediocre at best matches that fans absolutely do not care about. ![]()

Kross is a mid talent on the mic and a negative in the ring. His best use would be as a manager Taskmaster-style.

And another thing: in Kross' Tweet, he writes, "They write the scripts…But the fans write the truth."
STOP SAYING THAT S**T. This isn't WCW in 2000. Wrestlers across all federations and promotions BADLY need to cut it out with the whole, "This is all scripted, but I'm angry for real!" crap. If it's all scripted, then what does any of this matter? Why did Kross get such a hair across his ass for months over Sami Zayn and making sure Sami "told the truth" or whatever if the script called for Sami to win at Night of Champions and again at SummerSlam?
