Am I the only one who thinks we seriously need a SSB-style Mortal Kombat?

www.smashbros.com/en_us/howto/technique/technique05.htmlGliding First, do a midair jump! If you continue holding the jump button, you’ll start gliding. You don’t have to hold down the jump button, though. At the peak of your midair jump, you can also rapidly tilt the Control Stick backward to forward to link the jump to a glide. Tilt the stick down (or forward) to angle down. Tilt the stick up (or back) to aim high.

Yeah, yeah, I just kindof wanted to brag that an awesome announcement dropped on my birthday, but nah. Oh well, no biggie. I can see this being exploited endlessly...im not sure about this. And now I am off to update the big post, if I forget anything let me know.

That's sort of similar to the floating thing Kirby and Jigglypuff used to do.

So its basically what Peach did in Melee. Peach couldn't glide up/down, only side to side. It sounds a lot like Cape Mario from Super Mario World.

www.smashbros.com/en_us/stages/stage10.htmlWarioWare In the WarioWare games, you must master a variety of microgames in 5 seconds, making them the fastest and shortest games ever. You might want to look into it in more detail. In trying to recreate that atmosphere in Smash Bros. Brawl, we’ve created an outrageous stage! Stay dry! Dodge! Jump! Wh-what the heck is this? What is going on? What kind of joke is this? For each challenge you clear, there is, of course, a reward. The typical screen looks like this. Ah, what floor would you like, Smash?

Huh? Why don't they just save that kind of crap for Mario party? Well, they do have gimmick stages. Kind of like the Pokemon Floats. I guess to switch things up.

Huh? Why don't they just save that kind of crap for Mario party? What do you mean? Do you miss the idea of it? You're not playing these microgames non stop or anything. This is just a stage, it isn't a mode of play where the object is to win in the minigames. The stage just ocasionally launches you into them (i'd assume you only play like 1-3 then are back in the regular stage for a while). During the games you can still attack each other, there are just extra hazards related to the microgame that is happening around you, and you're rewarded for avoiding them (I'd assume that means people who don't avoid them take damage). I don't see how this is much different than several of the space stages that have hazards like other spaceships and meteors and whatnot, or the castle stage with the catapult and the breaking floors, or the bridge that explodes, or the various stages that take place on race tracks, or the ones that scroll.... Just something that changes it up a bit.

Just something that changes it up a bit. It's probably similar to Game and Watch's old stage, where random crap could screw you over, like oil slicks and tools flying at you.

That Warioware stage looks awesome! I don't know if it'd be a regular stage (Me and my friends tend to stick to more of the normal stages) but that's a nice gimmick one!

Looks fun, but I never liked the Game and Watch stage. The best use of the G&W stage is if you wanna do coin battles.
