Doc Samson couldn't cure the Lizard. Lizard advances. ------------------------------- Next it's a battle of babes in sexy black clothing ... Black Canary - A DC Comics superheroine, Black Canary is noted for her "Canary Cry" – a high powered, sonic scream with the ability to shatter objects and incapacitate villains. Among the first generation of superheroes, she was a member of the Justice Society of America, the first superhero team to appear in comic books. The combination of the Black Canary's courage, fearlessness, fighting prowess, and her sex appeal those fish-net stockings has resulted in her being referred to as "The Blonde Bombshell". She is also an expert motorcycle rider, but has a complete lack of proficiency with computers. vs Black Widow - Natasha Romanoff is an expert super-spy in the marvel universe and originally worked fo rthe soviet government but defected to America and has worked with the Avengers and more recently S.H.I.E.L.D as it's commander. She also led the brief super-team known as the Champions. She has had relationships with Hercules, Tony Stark (Spying) and Matt Murdock (Daredevil). Black Widow has extensive military, martial arts, and espionage training. Is able to use Hypnosis, has a slowed aging, enhanced immune system and is in peak athletic condition. Recently a second Black Widow arrived called Yelena Belova, she took on the avengers as a variant Super adaptoid but failed, HYDRA killed her using a self-destruct mechanism they had implanted in her. A sleek and sexy brunette spy in black leather, Black Widow has my vote.

Black Widow moves on past the Canary ------------------------------------ Next ... Havok - A Marvel Comics superhero, a member of the X-Men. He is the son of Corsair and brother of Cyclops and Vulcan. A mutant, Havok generates powerful “plasma blasts”, an ability he has had difficulty controlling. He often resents Cyclops’ authoritative attitude and reputation as a model X-Man. In contrast, Havok and his longtime love interest Polaris have had a love/hate relationship with the team, often finding themselves roped into it. Both were also members of the 1990s-era Pentagon-sponsored mutant team X-Factor. After X-Factor disbanded, Havok starred in Mutant X, a series in which he explored a strange alternate reality. He has since returned to the X-Men. He has the ability to absorb cosmic energy and make energy blasts plus he has immunity to Cyclops' optic blasts. vs Professor Charles Xavier - The leader and founder of the X-men, Throughout most of his comic book history, Xavier is paraplegic, although his body houses one of the world's most powerful mutant minds. A high-level telepath, Xavier can read, control and influence human minds. A scientific genius with a superhuman ability to absorb information, he is also a leading authority on genetics, mutation and psionic powers. Xavier’s mission is to promote the peaceful affirmation of mutant rights, to mediate the co-existence of mutants and humans and to protect society from antagonistic mutants, including his old friend, the militant Magneto. To achieve this aim, he founded Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters (later named the Xavier Institute) to teach mutants to explore and control their powers. Its first group of students were the original X-Men. Xavier's students consider him a visionary and often refer to their mission as "Xavier's dream". However, he also has a manipulative streak which has resulted in several significant fallings-out with allies and students. Professor X has my vote here.

Charles Xavier moves on to the next round. ------------------------------------------- Next up ... The Thing - Ben Grimm is a member of the fantatic four. He is the only one of the four who suffered an actual physical change to his appearence from the cosmic rays that all four were subjected to. His trademark orange rocky appearance, sense of humor, blue eyes, and his famous battle cry, "It's clobberin' time!" makes him one of comics' most recognizable and popular characters. vs The Savage Dragon - He is a superheroic police officer named Dragon from the Image Comics line. Dragon is a large, finned, green-skinned humanoid whose powers include super-strength and an advanced healing factor. He is an amnesiac: his earliest memory is awakening in a burning field in Chicago. Thus, for most of the series, his powers and appearance were a mystery to readers. At the beginning of the series, he became a police officer and battled the mutant criminal "superfreaks" that were terrorizing Chicago. The Thing has my vote.
