That's it... I'm bringing out the big guns. This cover, my young padawans, is the smurfing crap. Big guns. Pouches. Tapering limbs. Bulging muscles. Pouches. DynAmIIC AKSCHUN!!! Odd headgear. Pouches. i count 47 pouches combined. to be fair, this was considered dynamic artwork way back when, just when you look back you can see how ridiculous it really is. i sometimes look back at my spiderman comics during tod mcfarlanes run, and wonder why spidey looks like he's about to commence auto-fellatio half the time he's swinging on his webs. its kinda funny now, but then it was new and awesome. (the art, not the self-blowing thing) |
