For anyone who catches this film on TV sometime, watch it. Phil Hartman and Sinbad worked good together.

Well that's an odd coincidence... I happen to be watching this on OnDemand right now as we speak. Started about an hour ago.

Phil Hartman was so good he could make anything watchable. I watched the awful Jingle All the Way today and he was able to save that.

Phil Hartman was the man. Damn he's missed.
BTW, what happened to Sinbad?

I don't get it. At all. It's kind of a small horse, I mean what am I missing? Am I crazy?

I love this movie. Sinbad rocks the boat up in this. Hartman wasn't bad, but it's Sinbad's baby. The daughter at one point wears a Smiths shirt, and I've always liked that. The classic scene at McDonald's is right up there with 'I don't give a damn'. The song during the credits by the two is outstanding fun and wish I had it right now to listen to.
In Jingle All the Way these two same guys are the real stars, again. Sinbad waltzing around in a mailman costume and zipping one-liners and chasing Arnold for a doll is good stuff.
His starring role in The Cherokee Kid is one of my favorite movies, that unfortunately I don't own.
And like the great unsolved mystery, what the heck happened to Sinbad? Homeboy should be doing something and getting mad money.

I even liked sinbad's sitcom (the one he had on FOX), and the SNL ep he hosted is one of my favorites, if just for "Spike Lee's Dracula" and "Supermans funeral".

"All of the other nuggets...wish they could be red meat!" Classic.
Gigantic Co-Sign on the Cherokee Kid film as well. LOVED IT!
*Sinbad takes a swig of whiskey....goes batshit*
"DAMN MAN! That'll grow toenails on a dead man! ..........can I have some more?"

Love this movie. Sinbad is hilarious and Phil Hartman is the man, so yeah. I think if anyone else had been in this, it would been pretty crappy, but they both make it work.

I loved this movie as a kid. The scene with Sinbad and the wigger on the train tracks is hilarious.

I like Sinbad. He was fun. Yet there's a contention that we're supposed to hate him cause he's lame and unfunny. I don't agree.
