I'd have to go with "The Howling", Yes the first movie is awesome but the sequels are ASS.

I could say the exact same thing for the Wishmaster. Also, I loved the first Hellraiser but could care less for most of the sequels.

Saw has sucked in descending order. At this pace, I have no idea how awful Saw VI or VII is going to be.

Scream is hardly a horror film, so I'd say it and it's many sequels.

I have to agree about the Howling films after the first one they got worse and worse.
Two other crappy horror franchises I must mention and I agree 100% with Uncle Bill and Creepy Kentuckian from the Deadpit on this one are the Child's Play and Leprechaun movies.
Other crappy horror franchises are:
I Know What You Did Last Summer Saw Underworld (if you consider it horror I don't) The Amityville Horror
That's all I can think of.

Troll, all 3 of them.
Since they're giving them DTV sequels and making franchises out of them: White Noise and Boogeyman.
Witchcraft 1-13? 14? Somewhere in there. There was only one halfway decent one around 6 or 7 or so, and that was only because the lead female had a nice set of breasts.
And the worst? The absolute worst? The Dark Harvest series. #2 may be the worst film ever made. Hour and a half of a guy running through a cornfield maze.

Halloween! Just kiddin'. I'll say Leprechaun. Utterly terrible. Even the first one wasn't any good.

Hellraiser is pretty wretched from what I've seen of them. Also the Leprechaun though admittedly I've never sat through a FULL movie from the series.

Even though i like them and own the box set, was there really a need for 3 sleepaway camp films?
