The only albums that I'm absolutely positive came out this year that I really liked were Arcade Fire's "Neon Bible" and Tegan and Sara's "The Con".
I've seen Wilco's album on a number of lists/posts...but the last album of theirs I really liked on its own merits was "Summer Teeth".

I am way out of the music pop culture loop so I didn't really pay much of any attention to the new music this year, the sole exception being Emmy Rossum's album "Inside Out" which I bought pretty much immediately after stumbling upon her music video on the youtubes. Loved it.

Think of Blender as kinda like an american version of...uhhh...whatever the most important mainstream music rag in the UK is (but only if the music rag tries to paint itself as 'cutting edge' and 'underground' and 'not mainstream' while being a major corporate pile of corporate youth mind control while carrying around a sort of pretentiousness and WAY over inflated sense of self worth/importance...or something like that) That would be NME then. THANK YOU. For the life of me I couldn't remember what that rag was called.

Not gonna have 10, but here's what I've picked up and liked this year:
Dream Theater - Systematic Chaos (My pick for best of '07) Lyle Lovett and His Large Band - It's Not Big, Its Large Dwight Yoakam - Dwight Sings Buck Paul McCartney - Memory Almost Full Falling In Between Live - Toto
Have to include Amy Winehouse's album, despite the fact that the album was released in mid-December of 06 and the fact that she's a worthless drug addict. "Back To Black" is an excellent album.
