Surely someone here owns Thriller right? Anyway, was just reading that an anniversary edition was just issued with some remixes and the famous duet with Michael and Paul, now has no Paul. Thankfully I bought the last reissue, along with the record and tape I already had.

At least it's not a good song. 'The Girl is Mine' is terrible.

But it's a part of the biggest selling album of all time. I don't like that at all. I have the vinyl and the 20 year re-release from 2003 on CD. It's that man's album, and he can do what he wants to it, but I think that's a little sad. Just because Paul's a little pissed at him for stealing the rights to the Beatles from him.

But it's a part of the biggest selling album of all time. It's a part of the Eagles' Greatest Hits?

EDIT: I just checked it out and Wikipedia says Thriller is the best selling album of all time. I always thought it was. But Wikipedia are not always up on their facts. I salute Joe Walsh. But Don Henley still sucks. EDIT: The Eagles Greatest hits is the all time best selling album in America. 3rd Worldwide. I no longer bow down.

How would you feel if your life's work was taken away from you by a friend who used it in a way that it was never meant to be and made money off of it?

He took ALOT of money off the man's table. He should be as pissed as pissed can be. But Michael shouldn't hold that against him.

Amazon is listing it as being on there, and a new remix without him on it. Confusing. I take responsibility for the mix up if this is the case. I should know better than to listen to the news. They really have f***ed up a lot lately.
From wikipedia:In 2007, the song was rerecorded, this time as a duet with Jackson and hip-hop producer will.i.am, for Thriller 25, the silver anniversary release of the album. Jackson sings his verses from the original, and some of McCartney's, while will.i.am provides the beat and raps on the song.
But that's included as a bonus to the original album

The Michael Jackson episode of South Park was on last night, which is a classic.

Umm.. McCartney has no right to be pissed - he was the one that brought the beatles catalouge to michaels attention, Paul then started bidding, thought he was going to pay too much and michael stepped in to buy them.
