"R" means "Record once", right?
Surely this doesn't mean, for example, if the DVD will record 6 hours of footage, if I record a 2-hour show on one night, I can't record, say, another 2-hour show a couple days after that?
Otherwise I just wasted my money on a 100-pack of DVDs.

Yeah, I think you would be able to record on them after whatever you've recorded now.
Just not erase what you already have on there and put new stuff on, which would be DVD-RWs.

Ahh right. So, in other words, you can't record over footage already on the disk, but if there's blank space on the disk, it's a-ok?

Oh, and DVD+R's are better for Video, so if you have a DVD Recorder, it's gravy.
