I'm probably going to be in the minority with a very unpopular opinion, but I think he got shafted pretty hard. Not only did he lose everything he had for something that he said in the privacy of his own home that his own son turned around and leaked to the press at his father's expense for a quick payoff, I fail to see how his personal opinions and beliefs are anybody's business but his own. I don't care at all, AT ALL if he used a racial slur in a private conversation, who hasn't? You've never, EVER seen that affect the way he's treated anybody on his show; everybody got the same treatment and the same respect regardless of their race or gender or anything else you could possibly judge someone for. I'm pretty much just against any form of suppression of free speech. I've never use a racial slur in public or private. Why? Because I'm not a racist. I'm not racist and I use them all the time Cracker...Honky...Paleface...did I insult you yet...I hope not cause I find these things very funny

Being overly-racially sensitive to the point where you feel the need to point out just how racist you AREN'T when nobody even accused you of being so is a million times worse than using a slur during a private phone call with your son. Who are you trying to impress?
