Me too. I went from 50 a day to zero with no patches or nicotine gum and managed to stay off them for 18 months. Then I started up again a few months back. Dumbest f***ing move I ever made.

I quit on November 11, 2006. Cold turkey. Do yourself a favor, bub. Kick the habit by not starting the habit! Isn't that right, Streebeck? EDIT: That being said, I'm not one to judge anyone who smokes or goes back to smoking...this is a joke, and only a joke.

To defy all you naysayers.

On a serious note, cigarettes have taken away multiple members of my family and their effects are inthe process of taking another one away from me now.
I will never like them, I will never hold nothing but pure disgust and contempt for them and the people that manufacture them.
Not the actual smokers.

I think its important to note that I started lighting my cigarettes with a shotgun when I wanted to quit.
I usually only smoked when I drank, and well, ya know, when you've been drinking, your control over the lighter might equate a burnt nostril...
Has a strange effect when you use a shotgun for a ligther. On the upside, I don't have to worry about my boogie cliffhangers anymore...

I started smoking at 13. Started chain smoking(2-3 packs a day) at 16. Quit at 18. Started again at 20. Quit again at 21. Started again at 22. Quit again in March of this year. Think I got it licked this time.
