You know what a I realized from watching this vh1 special, I realized that sheryl crow back when she sang " All I wanna do" was insanely hot, hotter then she is now. What ever happened to that sheryl crow?

I realized that I find Jewel in the "Who will Save your Soul" video insanely attractive. Not so much any other time though.

Meh, considering it's VH1, it doesn't surprise me that novelty songs like "I'm Too Sexy" and "Rico Suave" made the list over Stone Temple Pilots, Foo Fighters and Primus.

Not sure how you could. It's not really all that subjective. Epic got huge video and radio play; Midlife Crisis was modest at both. The Real Thing was a massive best seller; Angel Dust, not quite as much.

Is it a better song? Now that is subjective.

Decades, musically, are usually thought of by their one-hit wonders. You think of the 80s, you think of songs like "I Want Candy" and "Our House". You think of the 90s and you think of "I am Too Sexy" and "I Like Big Butts." So I am happy that those two made the list. STP was probably forgotten because most people remember Pearl Jam, Nirvana, and Soundgarden. The fact that Alice in Chains is on that list amazed me. I am shocked that Blind Melon didn't make that list (I hate the song, but understand that it should be on there)

One thing that upset me was that follow ups to show people what they are up to now. They did Marky Mark, but no Funky Bunch. They did so much in their video and I want to know what happened to the Funky Bunch dammit

I see Christina Aguilera, but no Britney Spears. Britney's "Baby One More Time" was released at the end of 1998 and was everywhere. If "Genie In A Bottle" could hit #38, then Britney's single was surely higher. (This from a Christina fan who couldn't stand Britney.) Maybe the people who voted considered Britney to be a 2000s artist.

Maybe I overlooked it, but I didn't see Boyz II Men anywhere. You would think one of their songs would make it, especially "It's So Hard To Say Goodbye (To Yesterday)". That was played at my high school graduation, so I know that was a 90s hit.

(Okay, I'm done going through the 1990s Top Tens, which are not represented at all.)

I like the list. There's a lot of good times on there. Not criticizing anything. It's just a list; there will be others when '90s nostalgia comes back.
