So I'm just discovering this, right... supposedly this whole binaural beats thing after concentrating on this sound for however long, will give you a feeling of being high... It's like audio drugs or something...
Anyone have any other info on this and if it works? Has anyone else even heard of this?

I have one on my iPod that's supposed to induce lucid dreams. I tried it again Tuesday night, and I dozed off for a couple minutes, and when I woke up...I'm not quite sure how to describe it, but there was this intense feeling in my head and my heart was pounding. Interesting, but not quite lucid dreaming. I'm not quite sure if it's the proper recording, because it goes from the binaural beat directly into the sounds of waves crashing; it's such a harsh change that it's kind of hard to not be shocked by it. It's more trippy than anything.
There's one called Digital Drug that's supposed to induce feelings similar to smoking pot. That one just gives me a headache. It does make my eyes start to twitch after a while, which is also pretty interesting.

For a second, I felt like I was spinning and got kind of dizzy, an unpleasant kind of dizzy, and had a bit of minor twitching, that's about it. I also started thinking about giant bugs and monsters, which is something I don't do, like, ever. I've got the A-Bomb one and I'm about to throw it on my iPod. This one sounds pretty fierce. We'll see what happens.

I've got i-doser...and I've tried several of them and honestly none of them did a thing for me...and I've shut everything off but the noise and I was using headphones...so yeah. I dunno. I guess it just doesn't do much to me.

Now THAT one was interesting. That was honestly the first binaural beat that I've ever tried that produced something more than placebo effects. I lost track of time pretty much immediately, so I don't know when this happened, but this really warm rush came over my torso. What happened was, I have a really, really hard time concentrating on these things, so I started focusing two pulses I was hearing, and eventually tricked myself into believing they were panning back and forth from speaker to speaker, when, in reality, they weren't. I was counting them off, one, two, one, two, when the frequency of the main beat suddenly started increasing, and that's when I felt the rush. The only problem was that I was incredibly aware of it and was waiting for it to intensify, and that's when it went away.
I was in my bed with my eyes closed, and, at some point, my screensaver came on, so the light in my room suddenly diminished and that scared the piss out of me.
I've got the Hand of God up next, the one that they supposedly didn't want to release because it's "too powerful" (and costs $200). I don't know, there might be something to these after all.

Any experiences you may have with these are purely as a result of your own imagination. Autosuggestion.
