Yeah, I agree, shouldn't have included Wonderswan in such bad company. We'll replace the Wonderswan with the Gizmondo. Agreed. Does anybody even remember Gizmondo? I only remembered it after seeing it's title on a list of handheld systems. As for the Neo-Geo Pocket color, it was actually very affordable when it came out (only $70) and had a great battery life of 40 hours for 2 AA batteries. Compare that to the Game Gear getting 2-3 hours on 6 AA batteries.

That is true, but I was just listing systems that went against (in so many words) the Game Boy and successors and failed for one reason or another. The NGPC was good, but suffered big-time from the SNK buyout

I was thinking of buying a Virtual Boy off ebay.
I'd never PLAY it, but I'd have a Virtual Boy. I can keep it in my room for decoration.

Played some space fighting game that I can't really remember the name of because it was nothing but green shapes. I liked that. I also got Acclaims Quarterback Club and... I couldn't help but notice that it was the same game on the Genesis.

I mean, look at these graphics: It's like I'm actually there!

Never even heard of that one. I only had four games myself: Doom, Star Wars Arcade, Virtua Racing, and Virtua Fighter. Console for $160, games were $60 a piece. That's $400 on the set. $400. If you'll excuse me, I need to go buy a bullet and rent a gun.

Geez, why all the PSP hate? It's not THAT bad of a handheld.

Then the Saturn came out and broke your heart. After the 32X debacle, I waited and took time to decide what to get for my next console. Couldn't let that happen again. I ended up getting a Nintendo 64 about two years later, and that more than made up for the 32X. And as for the PSP hate, I think more of the hate has to do with the commercials than the handheld itself.

I got mine for 30 bucks on clearance, and all of the games for 15 bucks at a Toys R Us when the Saturn debuted. I then proceeded to purchase a Saturn. BUT... RAW on the 32X was greatness, as was Virtua Racing. Virtua Fighter was a dog... but I mean, not every system had winners.

Yeah this is hate for advertising, which if I wanted to I could dovetail into hate for all of Sony's advertising, and wondering how in the blue hell they sold so many PS2s Though to be fair, PS2 advertising was not in any way as drug-trippy as some of the ideas put forth for PSP and PS3 ads
