In the epic universe that is music, there can be only one definitive King. Or in the Beatles case, four. But in the end we all must decide who is the greater icon. Make your choice, young Padawan.

I'll always choose The Beatles over Elvis, but the "King" is Chuck Berry.

The Beatles, hands down. I love every single song they ever released.
Elvis is good...but I don't care for most of his later work. I just like the early stuff.

I can't choose. I really do love both, though I guess I'm inclined to vote for Elvis. But I didn't, since I really CAN'T choose.

Elvis, he was and always will be the King! Beatles not so much and the only one that really had any talent in that group was paul and George, John was OVER RATED and Ringo was Ringo lol

I never understood Elvis. My mom tried to explain his appeal to me, seen and heard lots of his stuff, etc., yet still guess it was one of those things where you had to live through those times. The bum didn't even write his own songs, that's a hack if there ever was one. The Beatles, they'll never be topped.

The Beatles. They had a much bigger influence on pop music history than Elvis.
And besides, the TRUE king of Rock'n'roll is Lemmy. he is also God. Deal with it!

Well Since I did not get threated by a Security guard at the age of 7 for laughing at fat middleaged women crying at the graveside of Lennon or Harrison..
I will go with the Beatles.

Elvis didnt write his own songs. Writing takes alot more talent then just singing. So The Beatles, no doubt...

The Beatles. Elvis just stole acts from established African American artists and used it for himself. And there were 4 Beatles, so if one had a massive overdose, we'd still have 3 to make great music.

elvis is the greatest singer ever and is the undisputed king of rock and roll
but the beatles made the better music, and they had four entertaining personalities as opposed to one entertaining personality

I'm not sure if it's even very close. Elvis is a great singer and entertainer, but could the man do anything on his own?

Musically, I don't like either. Comedy value, I think Elvis has much more mileage.
