Not WWE guys, but Sting and Goldberg's heel turns were terrible. No one can buy Sting as a heel, especially when it was Crow Sting.

What about Bob 'Hardcore' Holly? He's neither Face or Heel! It's why he's one of my favorite wrestlers coz both the Good Guys & the Bad Guys can annoy me in different ways!

Just to be different, I hate Cena and Angle as faces, both just aren't entertaining as Babyfaces.

Shelton Benjamin should be a face, he isn't good at getting people to boo him but his in ring style is geared toward cheering him.
I think Monty Brown would make a good WWE face because he does the stuff they like and can get over with limited offense

I think his problem for being a heel is making convincing intimidating faces... because then he could just be the silent monster that destroys people...

Austin - Reasons stated above Jericho - Jericho was probably the second best when it came to giving promos. Especially when he dressed down Stephanie. By the way, pun COMPLETELY intended. Rock - Need I say more.

John Cena a.k.a. Big Tim Kingman .look- Better as a babyface. The substantial promos are and more fun to watch him defeat the heels. I liked the babyface Prototype he is the best babyface I have ever seen Seems more natural with a comically hilarious edge and the way he came across self confident and capable. Besides he is just a lot more entertaining as a babyface. He has a great smile and a positive attitude that has a contagiously awesome-ness to what he says and does! ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) That is what I wish he could be again.

Now while The Rock was a great face, his run between '97-Early '99 and 2003 were legendary. He's the consumate 'interchangable' character.
Sting Lex Luger Rey Mysterio (Because, seriously, would anyone by Rey-Rey as a heel... in fact, was he ever a heel?)
Now, the list of better heels than faces is way too long to list, but out of them all, I'd say Kurt Angle. None of his face runs, with perhaps the feud with John Cena as the exception, entertained me.

I think one guy that truly is better as a face is Undertaker. He has such a meniacal edge to him, that I think that's what most people want in a babyface. I think most people that are better as heel are so because when their face, they seem a little soft. That's why I believe that Ricky Steamboat would have probably been a great heel, despite popular belief.

I'll have to disagree, and say that Kurt Angle is a much better Face. He just doesn't work for me as a heel at all.
That being said, I'm quite atypical for an internet using wrestling fan in that I like Faces way better than heels, and think most wrestlers are better that way. Some of my favorites as faces:
Ric Flair - Great heel, but greater as a face
HHH - As a face, he's funny. As a heel, he's just annoying.
Hulk Hogan - He rarely shined in his nWo days, but his pre-hulkamania stuff was pretty good. On the other hand, he was the most over face ever(Austin was a tweener).
Chris Jericho - He never was a heel to me, really. His "stickler for the rules" thing never seemed a reason to boo him, and every time he got whiny, I thought it was funny.
Undertaker - The only good Heel run he had was when he first entered the WWF. Ever since then, he's been a face, or he's been pointless. Well, the Ministry was okay I guess.
Greg Valentine - I never saw any reason to dislike him. I cheered him when he was a bad guy, and I still cheered him when he was a good guy. It seems the only reason people booed him was that he was with Jimmy Hart, or Johnny Valient, or whoever.
Randy Savage - He was a good heel, at least in 89-91, but he was a much better face, especially 87-89 and 91-97.
There are obvious ones like Sting, Goldberg, Ricky Steamboat, and Tito Santana of course. And there are lots of guys I like better as faces for no real reason. To be honest, a list of people I think are better as heels would be much shorter :-P

Rick Martel is a guy I much preferred as a face than a heel.

Too me I like the tweeners more than a face....or as you could say the "cool" heels or whatever...I would prefer Hollywood Rock...or 2001 Invasion Heel Stone Cold...or Tweener Triple H...over some faces...with that said to be a face you have to be able to not change so much...I think that hurts a lot of guys...and those are the guys that come off robotic...

King Booker has brought the awesome, though, and he's technically a heel. Bobby Lashley. I just can't see him working as a heel at all. He doesn't have enough charisma. Matt Hardy. Jeff Hardy. RVD. Rey Mysterio. I gotta disagree on RVD. His face work seems forced. He's always at his best as a heel/tweener.
