Did anyone else notice he attacked Flair with more fire than we've seen from him in weeks? It's been well documented that Carlito hated being a face, last night was probably a release for the poor guy. He finally didn't have to walk around grinning it up and could finally do what he wanted to do, go heel. That's cool.

Yeah, I think with him as a heel again, people will start jumping back on that bandwagon.
Me included.

Yeah, I think with him as a heel again, people will start jumping back on that bandwagon. Me included. Because he's actually allowed to show character. I liked Carlito as a face still but the past few months I can't deny he's been boring.

Around the time he became involved with Trish. He's a natural heel, so hopefully he'll get good again.

Carlito was a little wussy around the Trish thing but I still liked. I saw him at the Manchester Raw I went to and went ape for the guy. Then once they threw him with Torrie more permanently and he didn't get PPV time any longer I was dissapointed.

CAR-LITO!! CAR...LITO! I just imagined Squirtle with Carlito's fro. For some reason, after I saw that, I pictured Ric Flair as a wrinkly Bulbasaur.

I was so mentally preoccupied with the new Pokemon game coming out that I thought Carlito's huge fro made him look kinda like a Pokemon...

Yeah, I think with him as a heel again, people will start jumping back on that bandwagon. Me included. It's sad. They wasted him as a face, not letting him keep the IC title. He'll defnitely flourish as a heel. Maybe they'll bring his brother up to tag with him?

I don't get why people are crapping on his heel turn last night? Him getting beat down by Flair fits with his heel gimmick. I guess people have forgotten who much of a pussy Carlito was as a heel . Like being beat down by Austin and Piper at Wrestlemania and being forced to do remedial chores by Teddy Long. Also don't forget he always used people and tossed them aside Chris Masters in an example for this. So far so good for Carlito. He'll triumph at the end but in the cheapest way possible.

Flair attacking Carlito works with the angle.
--Carlito teamed with Flair in order to improve. He got a few wins and got cocky.
--When they lost the "Tag Title Contendership" match, the build began.
--Carlito wanted instant success. He figured teaming with Flair would do that. When it didn't happen, he became frustrated.
--Flair was trying to pass some influence, some tricks-of-the-trade to a young star, he assumed, was wanting to improve. That wasn't the case. Carlito didn't want to improve...just win.
--So a frustrated Carlito decided to make an impact by attacking Flair and leaving him for the WGTT. One problem...
--Flair reacted. A man with history of these situations (both sides), he acted quickly, attacking Carlito with a fury that Carlito only experienced back during the promo from a few months back.
--The unchanged Carlito breaks free and turns to leave. He doesn't care about Flair. He doesn't care about the past, only th e future.
--Lawler's call of "Carlito! Didn't you learn anything!" as he turned his back to Flair helped significantly in my opinion. Especially since that was followed by a Flair chopblock and, "You don't turn your back on the dirtiest player in the game!"
So that is how I look at it. Carlito never changed from his selfish self. He didn't learn anything, he just wanted to use Flair for success and is now having to deal with the fury of a legend.
I hope they can keep it up and make this work. The only problem, in my eyes, is how long it took Carlito to turn. Flair, though, might be able to save this if WWE lets him have a microphone and about 5 minutes.
