The first episode of Wrestling Society X will actually air this Friday at 11PM ET on MTV. The airing is being billed as a special preview of the show's 1/30 debut. More info on WSX is available at www.wsx.mtv.com.

It better be worth it. I still hate the idea that they're making it into "seasons" like all their TV shows.
So I mean, what, if a guy wins a title on the season finale, do the two or three months they take off from defending count towards their title reign?

Vampiro and Sean Waltman have said in interviews that they want to run house shows in between seasons and they will have new material and specials on the website periodically. So even though there wont be new material on TV, they will still have shows and tour.

Why do I get the feeling that Jack Evans is going to get a record deal for no reason because of this?

I wish they would just put this on Wednesdays. If you're just watching this to look for an alternative to WWE and TNA, I suggest you check out Chikara Podcast-A-Go-Go. Best wrestling show going right now.

Best wrestling show going right now. Disagree (and I love CHIKARA), but SmackDown is the best wrestling show right now, CHIKARA's podcasts are right behind that, giving me wrestling and laughs in a 10 minute weekly span (or so).

I plan on watching the first show. It seems like it won't be that bad. I'll have to wait and see though.

I was reading about the casts members and they called Kris Kloss one of the best commentators in the business... no need to lie to the people.
Love how they put Colt Cobana and B-Boy under masks. (Cobana going by Matt Classic is awesome)

The trailer I saw looked like a bunch of hardcore matches and spotsfest. I'm won't be missing it.

When someone gets hit with a chair in wrestling . . . they get hit with a chair. I'm not going to sit there feeling sorry for a guy because he was elecricuted when I know damn well that all he did was pretend that he was getting shocked by shaking around. Didn't we learn anything from Abdullah The Butcher in that electric chair?

they have some good talent in the company. I wonder why Colt is under a mask. My guess is its something like Senshi/Austin Star with TNA where they didnt wanted/couldnt sign a contract under thier good gimick name so they came up with something else... that Or Mtv really wanted an old school masked character and decided to put a mask into Colt instead of the more logical choise of hireing a masked guy.
