Why do so many workers hate Roland Alexander? He's the hefty promoter of APW who you might remember from "Beyond the Mat". Apparently a lot of people who worked with him now have heat with him, why?

I only know him from beyond the mat. But Roland saying 'yeah they get paid' and the guy who's name I forgot saying 'at times we don't get paid' gives me an idea why people don't like him.

'Shooter' Tony Jones was the guy saying that, he has/had a website mentioning the issue in an interview, only a brief mention but i'm sure he said he didn't have problems with Roland. |

Can someone explain another thing that was brought up in the movie. If one of his guys got a contract he received part of it. Why? I never understood this and I think it is common in wrestling. Why? You pay to be trained, you wrestle matches for free (or even have to pay for them in some cases), so why do you have to pay these guys again if you make it to the big time?

I don't remember his name, but I did find some stuff on him. He was a motorcross and monstertruck promoter and did that stuff himself too. It seemed he was pretty good motorcross star. |
