oh, this is a joke? I actually do find the Ironman Match overrated because the first 40 minutes is completely boring.
And the HBK/McMahon WM match did suck. I remember the comment I made after the match...
Brian: What are we gonna do for the next hour?
Stewie: We could watch Shawn Michaels do 5 minutes of wrestling.

You're on the right track, but the execution is still off. You edited them using the same joke in every one. No offense, but I wouldn't press on with the rest of the countdown. This isn't winning any fans.
Jed Shaffer ~And I still wanna know how HBK/Vince fits the scheme. And why Flair would try to kill Steamboat in a feud between Flair and Randy Savage.

I agree with #10 and the HBK/McMahon one, though I've never seen anyone say to go out of your way to see that crap.

Here's the thing... I completely agreed with the Iron Man Match being overrated... Then apparently the last line was there for a joke...
Problem is, and here's just some constructive criticism, it wasn't funny... Sorry dude, try again... Here's a little satire that might actually work...
No. 6 - Steamboat vs. Savage - WMIV You always read how guys like Savage helped popularize the use of the top rope in wrestling, but with what? A flying elbow? Is that it? Test does a better one, and he's almost 7 feet tall, way more impressive. Otherwise it seemed like the match dragged with restholds and reversals that went absolutely nowhere. Hell, watching my cat chase around a laser pointer for a half hour was more interesting than this match. I almost gave this match one star, but I fell asleep before writing it down. Rating: (one long scribble and some drool)
yes, it may not be that funny, but at least it had a point somewhere in there...
well, maybe not, but goddamnit if i didn't try...

Number Nine: HBK VS Vince McMahon It just sucked plain and simple! Who overrates this match? By what comparative list are going against? I've never ... EVER ... seen this match on anyone's "must watch, ****+ MOTYC" lists. Jed Shaffer ~Now, that Vince/Undertaker Buried Alive match ... the extended squash? Yeah ... no, that sucked. PWI Readers.

Any one want to bet that he includes the Wrestlemania XX main event? He probably should. I mean I would agree. Hell I agree with the Iron Man comment too. I love HBK from the 90's and Bret Hart at anytime, but this match was NOT that good. Their SS 92 match smokes it like a cheap cigar.

Any one want to bet that he includes the Wrestlemania XX main event? If this were a real list, then he absolutely should. josh, I'll let this slide since you meant it in jest, but you HAVE to make it more clear when you want people to think you're joking.

okay.... so it seems my sense of humor is lost on u guys.... heres another try....
Number Five: Sting VS Ric Flair: Clash of The Champions
REASON: So lets see..... we have mister Face flop and strut around like an idiot for 3o minutes and mister.... I'm just a Road Warrior rip off who likes scorpions.... wrestling against each other...
Okay.... um.... sorrry... but how was this good wrestling? Where was the chairs? where was Vince McMahon or some authority figure, siding with Flair and were was my half the roster interferres but it doesn't matter cause Sting wins spot?
And damn it.... where was my hot diva, flashing her breast and distracting the ref so Flair can hit Sting with a Steele chair... only for Sting to kick out and win the match with a simple Roll Up!
Damn it NWA..... its not WRESTLING.... listen to Vinny Mac.... its Sports Entertainment!!!
And another thing.... wheres my f***in' ref bump?

what the hell is with your hard on for a ref bump??? every match doesn't need a ref bump. in fact when i see a ref bump i usually get pissed because it means something stupid is about to happen.
and listen up artard. when your number 5 match happened, in the late 80's. it wasn't sports entertainment than, it was wrestling. in fact the sports entertainment aspect hadn't even been thought of at this point, and if it had it was in its baby stages. so the fact that you are upset over flair and sting because of lack diva and authority figure makes your arguement completly void
oh and btw your a MARK!

I kind of agree with you on that Steamboat/Savage match. I have the feeling that is why they won't honor its anniversary this year. Mcmahon doesn't do the internet, therefore, its just another match to him. He might see the match the same way I see it. It was rather bland. The Flair/Steamboat matches were much better, even though those matches could be overrated themselves. I don't care if a match is an hour long. If it consists of twenty minutes of combined restholds then I consider it boring. However, matches with ref bumps and "foreign" objects lose points in my book. For once can a road agent book a ref bump with no consequnces in the outcome of the match. The action is so heavy and fast paced that the wrestlers take out the referee. He hits the mat for about 2 minutes only to get up and see that the action is still fast paced.
