Some people like them? I'm neutral so far, yet this comes as a surprise.
For a while, I always imagined people at home seeing VKM and going "ARF!ARF!ARF!ARF!ARF!ARF!ARF!ARF!ARF!ARF!ARF!" and then someone coming in with a chew toy and rubbing their bellys until they calm down. Almost every day, someone would come in with another thread to say how much they suck, and the Pilot would make a new WWE.com homepage mocking them and all would laugh and sing and dance and have a gay time.

That's a very bold statement to make (on a wrestling board), and I find it admirable that you have. Well done, sir.

Funny VKM - Great "Serious" VKM - Not so good This sums it up for me. When they're doing the goofy video segments, I like them. When they're in the ring demanding a $1 million shoot fight, I don't. Incidentally, I also hate PCS.

This fiasco doesn't make me want to tune into Impact or order any TNA PPVs, nor has it entertained me in the slightest.
If that's your definition of a successful gimmick, then please don't ever be a booker or promoter.

Some skits can be funny(I thought the "Target" thing was hilarious) but some are not(the recent one and the Fake DX/Fake Spirit Squad/Fake Big Dick Johnson sketch)while they do nothing to hurt the show they do nothing to help it either.

heres my take on the monday raw.
Where were they
St. Louis
Where has TNA been saying the next place there gonna go outside of Orlando is
St Louis.
Where is the quote un-quote "Birthplace" of Professional Wrestling
St Louis.
St Louis is probably one of the smarkiest towns in the US next to philly chi-town, NYC and Boston. So when the Worst match I've ever seen (trump/o'donnell), the smarks in the audience (and there were quite a lot, if you didn't notice) where chanting what I still think was TNA, and not VKM, Only because they were frustrated over the great show they had gotten the night before, and the pure un-godly crap they had the next night. Plus I bet that the chants started out as one or two drunkin smart marks going...
"dude, check it out..................TNA!TNA!TNA!TNA!"
and after that, they opened up an entirely new barrell of fish. that why they were chanting.
as For VKM, i think what they are doing is bush-league, but at this Point theres so much more going on in TNA that harping over VKM is stupid.

As I've said before, I'm really neutral towards them. They don't ruin my viewing experience, but they don't enhance it much, either. Couldn't have said it better myself

VKM is freakin' awful, though they're tolerable when they're being goofy instead of putting over the WWE and DX as TNA's top heels.

You know what's interesting about VKM?
In most WWE-related documentaries reflecting on the Monday Night War between WCW and the WWF, WWE staff comment on how instrumental DX's live 'invasion' of an arena hosting a WCW event was to turning wrestling fans on to McMahon's program. Those same staff members comment on how WCW had nothing to lose, and everything to gain by going along with the flow, but chose to wuss out on a great opportunity.
Now that 2 former members of DX are doing for TNA what DX did for the WWF in the late 90s, its hypocritical of WWE to wuss out and pretend that TNA and Voodoo Kin Mafia don't exist. Today, WWE is doing exactly what WCW did in the late 90s.
(I can only hope that WWE's commercial success will dwindle as much as WCW's did during that same timeframe)

I wish VKM isn't the reason people who watch WWE start watching TNA. I really don't like their silly "challenges" and claiming they "won" when really the fact is they didn't.
I'll like them more when they start wrestling actual matches and make me give a damn about them. Quite frankly, I think they're a waste of valuble airtime that could be given to a good solid match.
