. Oh and in case you didn't know, WWE (and every company probably, just not as much as the E) exagurates everyones height and weight to make them seem bigger. Then how tall is Rey Mysterio? During his WCW days, I think he was billed at 5.1 and 135 lbs.

It seemed like around Mania 3 Andre was 7 feet tall. Look at how tall Denis Rodman is next to Hogan. Rodman is listed at 6'8 Hogan was never 6'8 because he is nowhere near as tall as Rodman. Hogan is probably 6'5

Hogan is 6'4 now I believe. He is tall as Randy Orton whom I believe is the only one that his stats are legit. Also, WWE and other sports exagerrate their stats. I mean Abyss is 4 inches shorter than his billed height.
I met a few wrestlers at my old job(Best Buy) and here are some guess's on heights:
John Cena: 6'1 give or take(he wears big shoes) Edge: 6'3-6'4(again I didn't see his shoes but he was as tall as my friend who is 6'4) Batista: 6'3 (he was taller than me by an inch or less but it looked like he was wearing lifts because he was walking very stangly to me) Torrie Wilson: 5'9 but was wearing heels so she looked like 6'1 Big Show: 6'10-11(he isn't that tall to me, but was huge as hell)

Not that I doubt you, but have you got any pics you can show us? Are they online somewhere? Andre did stand on crates, and they did use a camera angle from the bottom to hake him look even bigger, but it has nothing to do really weather or not he was actually 7'4". They just did it to make him look "Larger than life". Yeah but standing on those crates made him look 8 ft. high. Vince was at belly button level with him.

it's funny: watching older Andre matches he seems smaller than at WM3. There he's a massive, bulky, tall giant--and that's when his back problems were at their worst wasn't it?

Yeah show seems like a Legit 6'11-7Feet
Nash is definately around 6'10 because I saw him next to David Robinson who is 7'1. Show does appear to be taller then nash when they were on tv together.

At his peak he was 7'1, Meltzers claim of 6'9 3/4 was from a 1974 measurement of Andre when he was 28 and just getting into wrestling. His disease caused him to grow much larger
At Wrestlemania 3 he was legitimately 7'1 525. By Wrestlemania 6 he was 7'0 and weighed in at 550. By the time he was finishing up his career (and life) by wrestling semi regularly in Japan, europe, and Mexico he looked to be around 6'11 but much much fatter, probably up around 570. You could tell he was only a little taller than Baba who he frequently tagged with, and Baba was legit 6'10, so Andre must've been 6'11.

The simple answer to this question is that we will never know. You could measure him at 7'4 one week and 7'2 the next. That's the nature of the disease. He was always growing, but the taler and wider he got, the worse his bones and posture became, so there will most likely never be a definitive answer to the question. No matter what his height, Andre was awesome.
