The Liontamer counter from the hurricanrana off the turnbuckle was a tremendous spot.

(I put this in the WWE Current section because Benoit is a current WWE wrestler) yeah, but Raven's not. Why not put this in the (W)rest of Wrestling section, then? Why does Benoit take priority? WHAT ABOUT RAVEN?!?

Good match indeed, shame about the rest of the event THe match's ending was crap, though. Benoit got Raven to submit, and even though the match is over, Benoit keeps the Crossface submission locked on. The ref does nothing to try and stop this. Raven's flock comes out to break the hold (which, at this point, should be getting Benoit disqualified for refusing to break the hold after his opponent submitted). Suddenly, the ref is totally concerned about keeping order, and waves his hands around, telling the timekeeper to ring the bell to let the Flock know that they have no business being out there. Officiating like that pisses me off. Yes, I know its scripted, but it insults my intelligence when the ref is so willing to permit Benoit's infraction but disallow that of Raven's flock. I'M PISSED NOW!

Thanks for this, first time I've ever seen the match thanks to WCW's failure to put this reportedly great PPV on VHS.

My most-wanted WWE release would be a crapload of old WCW PPVs on DVD.

Great match on a decent card. The lucha opener was great, as was Raven/Benoit, Flair/Hart, and the Scott Hall/Larry Zybysko match had a great swerve with the Dusty heel turn.

I'M PISSED NOW! Um...this was a no DQ match, how can there be a DQ in a no DQ match? Er.... I forgot that the match was being faught under "Raven's Rules." I guess that's what happens when the last wrestling event that you watched was a CZW Tournament of Death special. Still... If there were no rules, then why was the ref getting so bent out of shape about the Flock coming out to the ring AFTER the match had ended? The 'no Flock' stipulation was supposed to correspond to the match - not to the Flock's presence at ringside in general! Then again, this is WCW we're talking about....

Raven came out to no music.
More people should do that.
Also Benoit fulfilled the requirement of "Every single match that took place in the 90s must have at least one participant sporting a mullet."
