Wow, the look on Duggan's face in the match listing picture is a thing of beauty.

Anyone else feel the sexual tension between the Bushwackers? It looked like Butch was just about to make his move, I found it touching.
But anyways, there's nothing I love more than getting nostalgic with campy 80s wrestling promos. I mark for pretty much everyone involved in that video.

Henning Rules.
This is a sad show cause It was Arn Anderson's last show. Tully Didn't even make the show cause he was fired before.

I'm thankful that i'm not Ricky Rude *kiss*
Piper is the man, btw.
Also, why were The hartfoundation on different teams at this PPV...i remember it happening, but i dont' remember why they weren't together... and ANvil teaming with the rockers is kinda odd.

Survivor Series 1988 and 1989 epitomized the greatness of Survivor Series. I wasn't a fan of 1987 since I only have the cut to pieces Coliseum Video version at home, but 1988 and 1989 were excellent. It all went downhill after that.
I remember as a kid I thought Hogan/Roberts/Demolition was the coolest team ever. Even at my older age now, I still think they were.

Man, I had to watch it twice to realize Piper was saying "I'm thankful I'm not Ricky Rude," and not "I'm thankful I'm not Mickey Rooney."
But SOMEONE has to bring the whole Survivor Series concept back in it's original form. It's yet another simple, effective way to get multiple feuds and rivalries over at the same time, so, of course, it's been abandoned.

But it seems like the only thing I remember about it was CM Punk getting cheered.

I think Hitman was attempting a singles career at the time. As I recall, Bret Hart made an effort to break out as a singles wrestler in 1989, but it didn't work out as well as people hoped, so he was put back with Neidhart in 1990. I even remember his finisher was a piledriver, he had not yet adopted the Sharpshooter.
