the Rumble is usually my favorite PPV of the year, but just READING about how Sandman, Sabu, and Dreamer got squashed (And knowing that Mahoney and Richards weren't even in the match) make me not even want to watch it this year.

Overall I thought it was good. The ECW title match sucked, and Kennedy had the best match of his career against someone who couldn't even keep up.
Mainly just that Cena and Batista are still champions. I liked the show, but if I had to pick it would be that.

The Hardys vs. MNM was a good match and all, but it's a shame that they didn't have MNM go over.
I'm amazed when I could be disappointed in Lashley/Test match, but having Test get himself counted out was the dumbest thing ever.

The usual for me: Cena & Batista are still the champs.

I'll be honest if Kennedy had beat Batista for the title I think I woulda been ok about the Cena winning his match if Batista had lost his (if that makes sense )

I'd put the show in the top 10 PPVs of the year so far.

While I was shocked that MNM lost and a little grumpy about the ending of the ECW title match, this was a great PPV in my opinion.
I honestly had no clue who was going to win between Michaels and Taker, which brings me to my real complaint: Irritating "Experts"
People online babble about how "predictable" the Rumble was because the favorites were Taker and Michaels (And Edge and Orton and CM Punk and...). Problem with that is the fact that any prediction was a guess. Some said Michaels, others said Taker. Michaels predictors ignore the fact they were wrong and shout how predictable the ending was, while people who picked Taker act like they are "in the know" when it comes to wrestling.
What I am really saying? I should stop reading "experts" and watching "shoots" on YouTube.
Rumble was great. Worth my money.

It sounds like an above average PPV by current standards, so I'll probably wind up watching it, I just wish they hadn't wasted the Rumble win on 'Taker. He doesn't need it, he'll be over no matter what. Let someone win that needs the rub.

We haven't seen Richards in a long time! He has the easiest job in the world... Show up to work once every 9-12 months and sit at home collecting checks! But, I don't see how you could not like this years rumble... Just during the ECW title match you could have went out and made some nachos.

I haven't seen it yet but I was pulling for either a Michaels win or a total surprise winner. But from what I've seen they're handling Taker's win pretty well on the main shows anyways so it evens out as long as he doesn't lose

I just think it was abit bland...like in alot of other rumbles there were alot of good spots in the rumble which made it good...up until khali entered nothing really happened and most of the eliminations were 'meh'

Im shocked people actually found this a great PPV. It was average at best, personally I found it dull. Cena/Umaga was good in a sense, that it was better than the usual lack of talent matches were use to from Cena.
World/ECW Title and Hardys/MNM was just your run of the mill RAW/Smackdown shows matches, you'd expect.
The Rumble itself, was meh, and when it started to look good, Khali ruined it. It wasnt so much the fact he dominated, (as much as I dislike the guy, i can appriciate some entertaining domination), but that was far from entertaining. The crowd went so quiet. he just kept repeating that idiotic chop, (for God sake man, stamp your foot whilst your doing it, make some flaming noise) and quite frankly spoilt what was a half interesting match.

Even if Punk, RVD, Sabu, Carlito, Super Crazy, or the Hardyz didn't win, which I didn't expect any of them to, I wished they would've done a bit more. These guys only had like 2 eliminations between all of them (RVD and Carlito each tossed someone). I know Khali sucks, but I didn't mind having him in there. It was like back in the day when Andre would compete, and we would all wonder exactly how dominant he would be.

I wasn't expecting Cena or Batista to lose their titles, so it didn't really bother me.
On the other hand the main event scene for WrestleMania isn't exactly something we needed to have.
Don't get me wrong, Michaels and Taker are awesome and OVER performers, but both could just stand for 5 minutes in the middle of the ring (or on the ramp) doing absolutely nothing and get huge pops...
I don't get why they need another main-event push while the pool of talents is solid as wet toilet paper and is struggling to get and stay over.
