I'm amazed that someone who entered 30 won. Although it's cool that it ended up being the Undertaker. Kind of fitting.

Maybe Shawn goes the route of being frustrated and turning heel?

Great Rumble match, and the ending was great, in a way I kinda wanted HBK to win, so we could see Cena/HBK, but they seem to be going the route of Cena/Rated RKO for the Raw main event, so I guess we're stuck with Cena "OVERCOMING THE ODDZ!!!1" again.
Punk had a great showing, as well as Finlay and Edge this year.
Booker/Kane seem to be feuding, probably have a match at NWO more than likely.
HBK might turn heel or something, or cut a promo whining about losing, one or the other, or both.

so, who goes to WM for the RAW and ECW belts? At this point, Punk seems like the best choice for ECW(although a face vs. Face match may not work). What about Raw? I hope not Orton.

Ok, I'm going give my Royal Rumble match thoughts, best from worst.
1. The 2007 Royal Rumble -Loved it. No matter how bad matches could end up being, when ordering the Royal Rumble, you're guarenteed at least one long awesome match. The Rumble once again delievers. The men put over I feel in this match for their length of time in were Finlay, Edge, Shawn Michaels, and CM Punk. And for lasting close to the end, MVP. I felt though that even though the ECW stars were probably the most over of the night, they got eliminated pretty quickly. Great Rumble anyway.
2. WWE Championship - John Cena (c) vs Umaga w/Armando Alejandro Estrada -Great match, but I feel that Umaga can't do much after this, which is good and bad. Good because the Umaga gimmick is bad I feel, and bad because Umaga is a tremendous talent, and we might not see much of him anymore. Great match overall.
3. MNM vs The Hardys -When these two teams get in the ring, an awesome match is on the way, and this was definitely no exception. I'm hoping this feud continues until Wrestlemania.
4. World Heavyweight Championship - Batista (c) vs Ken Kennedy -I feel that this was actually the match that put Kennedy on the map as far as a title contender. I like the dynamic of these main eventer vs upper midcarder type matches because if the upper midcarder puts on a great show, then you know there are bigger and better things on the horizon, and this was no exception.
5. ECW World Championship - Bobby Lashley vs Test -Two people who are good, but are not Championship material. Decent match, but nothing special.
Anyway, this Rumble was definitely worth the money.

Someone proposed the idea of a 4-way with Cena,HBK,Rated RKO, I think that'd be awesome and Shawn would still have a chance of being in the match and possibly winning it.
This year's RR>>>Last year's RR easily.

The only problem with this Rumble match itself was that for the majority of the match it lacked a coherent narrative. Shawn/Taker was a classic ending because it told a good story. Before that it was a bit too much stream of consciousness. The great rumbles have good story arcs in them. Ric Flair going all the way. Shawn going all the way. Benoit going all the way. HHH and Mysterio battling for destiny.

Maybe Shawn goes the route of being frustrated and turning heel? During the DX reunion. Now that would be awesome.
