I'm interested. Everyone was saying "OGM SEENA'S GONNA WIN" before Edge's 2nd title win, and the same before ONS2 as well. So, it's still not apparent who's going over, and I'm interested. However, that being said, I am still more interested in the match itself rather than the match itself. Actually I dont think people thought Cena was going to win at ONS2. That was the one where they said if Cena wins we riot. But a lot of people were saying that it was going to be RVD's night. Cena may not be 100% undefeated over the last few years, but he still wins way too frequently to get the "persistent underdog" image that WWE is casting him as.

If you're the "top guy" then being an underdog is inherently difficult. If you're the "top guy" who loses maybe once every four months, at the absolute most, while having upwards of two matches a night, then you more or less can't be called an underdog. Would anyone have dreamed of calling Trips the underdog at any point during, say, 2002? Of course not. Mysterio was an underdog, because there was genuine surprise when he won a match, ANY match, during his title reign. As for the match tonight, I just can't bring myself to care. The booking is the cookie cutter "babyface overcomes the monster, after getting decimated the last time he was on TV" set up. Either way, Umaga comes out as an also-ran, and that can only hurt his character. If he loses, he's just another guy who lost to the unstoppable underdoggery that is Cena. If he wins, then the commentaters point out how "evil and dastardly" he is for daring to use weapons and physical force in a match which requires that he use weapons and physical force. He is then booked in a return match, wherein the former champion, whi is still treated like the champion, becomes the champion yet again, much like the Trips/Kane one day title swap, but with the heel/face roles reversed.

That sums it up fairly well, for most of the title matches tonight. No one is in danger of losing their belt.

I can't get into anything where I'm supposed to buy some midcard novelty act like Umaga as a main-eventer.

I'm fairly interested in seeing how the hell Cena is gonna win and seeing if the winner of the Rumble or Khali pulls a run-in. I'm also praying we don't see any Bugs Bunny-esque shinanigans out of Cena. I'd rather the Rumble be the main event, seeing as the freakin PPV is NAMED for the match.

I'm more interested in it as a last man standing then as the other match they had at NYR. I think this gimmick match fits them both really good.
