Yes. World title reigns aren't gifts or year-end bonuses. The world title isn't a golden watch you give to your eldest employee at a lavish do. Here's what 'Taker can have for his retirement: A golden handshake and a backstage pass.

A world title is a professional wrestling prop and the goal of the world title is to make money by promoting featured stars as headliners.

If 'Taker, or any of his fans, want him to have another world title just because, OMGZ, he might retire soon maybe or not, then you can buy a decent replica for a few hundred bucks.

I think it's easy to guess that if the world title is a prop for use in professional wrestling as a means of generating revenue, then, yes, other titles would follow in that regard. Comedy reigns, token good bye reigns, 'wow we haven't released you yet, have a title' reigns, they're all rubbish.
